Jhoanna POVWe quietly got out of the guidance office.
" Kasalanan mo to, you got us in trouble! Gosh you're so annoying, pinipilit pa mag parents conference. Pera lang pala, magkano ba kase? " She asked me.
" Wala ka talagang alam no? " I responded while trying to hold back my tears.
" Ano ba kaseng dapat malaman ko? Just let me know the amount, bayaran ko kahit double " She rolled her eyes at me.
I really can't believe how clueless and heartless she can be.
" Wag na, kakayanin ko " My voice broke.
" Whatever loser " She said before leaving.

Stacey POV
" Stakuuu na-guidance ka daw? " Maloi asked while catching up to me.
" Kasalanan ni Jhoanna " I responded.
" Ha? Ikaw nga nagprank sa kanya. Bakit mo kasi pinaglaruan yung broadcast? Pati ako muntik madamay " She asked me.
" That annoying Jhoanna deserves it " I rolled my eyes.
" Staks hindi ba parang ang harsh naman? " Loi looked at me with concern.
" Bakit ba? Nahuli na nga ako eh " I started to get annoyed at Loi.
" Ano pala sabi ni Ms. Ramos? " She asked me.
" Ayun na nga kaya bwisit na bwisit ako dyan sa Jhoanna. Gusto ni Ms. Ramos parent conference pero nakiusap ako na community service na lang. Ayaw pa pumayag ni Jhoanna wala saw siyang baon at pamasahe. I offered to pay her na nga tapos ayaw din naman " I sighed.
" Staks hindi naman kasi ganon yun " Loi tried to reason with me.
" Sama ka kasi ng sama sa Jhoanna na yan. Ewan ko sayo " I said as I walked ahead of her, leaving her behind.

Jhoanna POV
" Jho anak, linggo ngayon ah, bakit may pasok ka? " Mama asked me.
" Ma sorry, nirequire kami ng community service eh " I apologize.
" May baon ka na ba anak? " She asked me.
" Ma wag na, kaya pa naman " I responded.
She quickly took her purse to get some money and took my hand to place it in my palm.
" Nak kalahati lang to, pero kunin mo na para may dagdag ka. Di pa kasi nagpapadala ang papa mo eh " She said as she insisted that I take the money.
I couldn't refuse her anymore because I knew what would break her heart. I quickly turned around as I felt myself tearing up, I didn't want her to see me like this.
" Ma, pasok na ako ah " I said as I left the house.

Stacey POV
" Ma'am Lindstey, bakit nga po pala kayo ulit may pasok ng linggo? " Manong Jun asked me as he was driving me to school.
" Nako manong mahaba at nakakainis na kwento " I exclaimed.
" Saan ko po kayo ibababa ma'am? " Manong Jun asked as we approached the school gate.
" Dito na lang Manong, wag ka na pumasok " I said as I got out of the car.
I walked straight to the school gym to start our community service. To no surprise, Jhoanna was already there. I sat on the bleachers while Jhoanna was mopping the floor.
" Di ka tutulong? " She asked me.
" Why would I? Kaya mo na yan " I rolled my eyes at her.
I let Jhoanna do all the work and I was just relaxing on the bleachers when my eyes widened as I saw my parents walk in.
" Really Lindstey? You got in trouble again? " Mom said as she approached me.
Wala man lang kamusta? Ganyan agad. I gaven't seen you in 3 months.
" Mom, dad, why are you here? " I asked them.
" We went home and wala ka. Yaya told me you were at school, and here you are " Dad responded.
" Lindstey, community service nanaman? " Mom added.
" No mom, a-ano po to para sa org, may event po bukas " I tried to make excuses.
" Bullshit Lindstey! Hija, ikaw come here " Mom signalled to Jhoanna.
" Mom! Wag mo na siya idamay " I tried stopping her.
I just know that loser will explse me to mom and dad.
Jhoanna slowly and reluctantly approached us.
" Hija, tell us, bakit kayo naglilinis ng gym on a Sunday? " Mom asked Jhoanna.
Jhoanna kept silent and couldn't answer right away. She kept looking at me and my parents back and forth.
" Ahh tita totoo po sinabi ni Stacey, may event po kami tomorrow. This is for our org po "
What the hell? Pinagtakpan niya ako?
" Actually po tita masipag po si Stacey, active po siya sa class and she stays out of trouble" Jhoanna added.
" And we thought Stacey would never do anything right " Dad commented.
" Stacey is bery talented po. Her parents are both in studies, fashion, make-up and even dancing. Nagagawa niya po isabay lahat yun " Jhoanna replied.
" I guess you'll be fine here Lindstey, we'll see you at home " Mom said before leaving with dad.
I was too stunned to speak after what just happened. I have so many questions but I couldn't talk right away.
As I opened my mouth to try and talk to Jhoanna, she already turned her back and went back to cleaning the gym.
*
Jhoanna POVI went back to cleaning the gym right after Stacey's parents left. I don't know exactly why I lied for her and defended her, but I felt the need to when I saw how scared Stacey was as soon as they walked in.
I was taken by surprise when Stacey approached me.
" Saan yung ibang cleaning materials? " She asked quietly.
" Sa backstage " I answered.
It took her a while before coming back. She came back with a few cleaning materials and started cleaning right next to me.
" Break ka muna, for lunch " She mumbled.
