Jhoanna POV
" Break ka muna, for lunch " She mumbled.
I was taken by surprise with how Stacey is acting right now.
" Hindi na para mabilis tayo matapos " I responded.
" Ang arte mo talaga " She rolled my eyes at me and continued mopping the floor.
As we continued cleaning, I caught a glimpse of Stacey and she had a very faint smirk on her face.
A few minutes passed and Stacey let go of the cleaning materials.
" Lunch lang ako " She said as she walked away.
I kept on cleaning to finish the job faster. I didn't want to spend all the money na bigay ni mama, magagamit ko pa to for next week.
" Oh " Stacey said as she dropped a paper bag beside me.
I didn't notice she was back already.
" Ano to? " I asked her.
" Di ko nagustuhan, kainin mo na lang " She said before grabbing her cleaning materials.
I just stood there and stared at her with a blank expression. What could she possibly be thinking?
" Mag lunch ka na, nasisira mood ko pag nakikita kita. Dun ka na loser " She said while cleaning the floor.
I hesitantly grabbed the takeout bag from the floor and moved over to the bleachers.
To my surprise, the takeout bag was still sealed. Hindi naman niya to tinikman or anything. Siguro sinusubukan niya bumawi for earlier pero hindi niya alam kung paano.
I guess I was right all along, hindi naman takaga ganon kasama si Stacey.

Stacey POV
After cleaning the gym, I went straight home to see my parents.
" Ma'am Lindstey, pasensya na po kayo mukhang napasama po kaya kay ma'am and sir. Nalaman pa po ata na may community service kayo " Manong Jun said as he was driving me home.
" Okay lang Manong, hindi naman nila nalaman. Pinagtanggol ako nung kasama ko " I responded.
" Hay nako buti na lang ma'am Lindstey may mabait kang kasama dun at pinagtanggol ka pa. Kung ako nga ma'am hanggang ngayon eh takot na takot pa din akong makipag usap kay ma'am and sir. Mabuti at nagawa kang ipagtanggol ng kaibigan mo "
" Ew, she's not my friend manong, napaka loser nun " I reacted.
" Ma'am mukha namang hindi loser kung nagawa niyang humarap kay ma'am at sir " He replied.
We shortly arrived at our house and Manong dropped me off at the front door. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by mom.
" Lindstey anak, napagod ka ba sa preparation niyo sa school? " She asked me as she reached in for a hug.
This is new.
" Sabi naman kasi sayo honey, hindi naman puro trouble itong baby Lindstey natin " Dad said as he patted my head.
" Medyo pagod po, 2 weeks pa po kami gagawa nito eh " I responded.
" Nagluto ang dad mo ng favorite smoked ribs mo, kain na tayo para mawala pagod mo " Mom offered.
" Yes anak, your mom also made truffle mac and cheese, sa gazebo na tayo kumain tapos let's swim after " Dad added.
I've never been greeted by mom and dad like this before. I guess for once may nagawang tama si Jhoanna. For the first time in years. I felt seen by my parents.
Monday morning came and I was greeted by Maloi as I walked through the walls.
" Stakuuu, bati na tayo. Wag ka na magtampo sakin, pinagsasabihan lang naman kita eh " She said as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder.
" Oo na, sorry na " I responded.
" Waut wait wait, tama ba narinig ko? Lindstey Stacey Aubrey Sevilleja nagsosorry? " She said in shock as she stopped walking.
" Whatever " I rolled my eyes at her and we continued walking.
As we were walking, Maloi suddenly stepped in front of me to block my view.
" Oops wit lang, iinit nanaman ulo mo, wag ka na sumilip para di ka na mang away " She warned me.
I peaked to see what she was trying go cover and I caught a glimpse of Jhoanna. I step to the side and walk past Maloi.
" Sabing wag sumilip, hoy hoy wag mo na awayin " Maloi tried to catch up to me.
" Morning loser " I said nung madaan ko si Jhoanna.
" Yun na yun? Morning loser? Di mo aawayin? " Maloi reacted.
" She might not be that bad " I mumbled.
" Ano? Pakiulig yung mas malinaw at mas malakas please " Maloi teased me.
" I said parang okay naman siya " I replied with a louder voice.
" Hala si Stacey lumalambot. Ano ba nangyari? " She exclaimed.
" Dumating si mom and dad yesterday, nahuli akong nagcocommunity service but that lose Jhoanna stepped in at pinagtanggol niya ako " I explained.
" See? See? I told you mabait naman si Jhoanna eh. Bakit ka ba kasi galit ka galit ka dun? " Maloi asked me.
" Basta, bwiset siya elementary pa lang " I replied.

Jhoanna POV
I was expecting Stacey to bully me this morning but all she said was " morning loser ". I guess she's not that bad anymore.
" Jho, kamusta community service? " Aiah asked me.
" Okay naman " I responded.
" Ano inaway ka nanaman siguro ni Stacey no? Pag nakita ko talaga yan nako lagot siya sa akin " She exclaimed.
" Actually hindi " I replied.
" Ha? Hindi ka niya inaway? That's new " She replied.
" Dumating yung parents niya eh, naawa nga ako grabe siya ipressure at pagsalitaan. Kaya naman pala napaka bully niya, nabubully din pala siya sa kanila " I explained.
" Good morning class " Our teacher arrived and started the class.
" Today I will be releasing the groupings for your outreach project. Ms. Robles, as the class president I will give you the list later and ikaw na ang bahala mag announce sa class.
