" Jho wait lang " I tied my ribbon around her wrist to stop her from leaving.
Nagkatitigan kami and we quickly realized what I just did.
Stacey, masyado ka nang halata ano ba?
" Huy Staku kadiri bat mo tinali sakin yung ribbon mo? Crush mo ba ako? Ikaw haaa " She joked to break the tension.
Kung alam mo lang Jho.
" Y-yuck assuming ka! Tinali ko lang para di ka umalis " I said defensively.
" So gusto mo nga ako makasama? " Jho teased me.
" Wala lang akong choice, corny kaya manood nito mag isa " I replied.
We watched the music fest together and the final song playing, there was the pressure to tie the ribbon.
I know this could be my chance but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Natatakot pa ako.
Everyone around us was trying their ribbon, while I'm just here being a coward about it.
I looked at Jho as the last band played the last song. I guess okay na ako sa ganito, at least andito ka sa tabi ko.
" Ingat pauwi Jho! Wag ka muna mamatay, walang sisira ng araw ko " I teased her as I walked her to the bus stop.
" Ingat ka din sa pagdrive, wag ka din mamamatay, baka mang damay ka pa " She teased me back.
I walked back to the parking lot and I saw Mikha sitting alone in her car. We were the only ones left there so I approached her.
" Mikhs? " I said as I knocked on her car window.
She opened the door and got out of the car.
" Anong nangyari sa date niyo? Bakit mag-isa ka? " I asked her.
" Pinakiusapan kasi nila ako mag substitute vocalist kanina. I got caught up in the crowd and di ko na nabalikan si Aiah. When iywas finally about to go back to her, wala naunahan na ako ni Miggy " She explained.
She look so defeated right now. Grabe siguro yung sakit na nararamdaman niya.
" Kayo ni Jho kamusta? Nakaamin ka ba? " She asked me.
I was taken by surprise sa tanong niya.
" H-huh? Pinagsasabi mo? " I tried to act innocent.
" Staku halata naman, kayong dalawa na lang ata yung di nakakahalata " She replied.
" Alam nito na gusto ko si Jho? " I asked her.
" We're not manhid naman. So, bakit di ka umamin? " She asked me back.
" Takot na din siguro, malabo na magustuhan niya ako. Enough na yung andito siya, yung okay kami. Kahit kaibigan lang " I said softly.
" Feeling ko naman Jho likes me back " She said.
" Wah mo akong pinapaasa ha " I replied.
" I'm not sure ha, pero from the looks of it, mukha namang may pag-asa ka " She replied.
" Sana nga " I mumbled.
" Ikaw? Do you think I have a chance kay Aiah? " She asked me.
" Oo naman, sobra mag-alala yun sayo. Kilala ko na yan since high school, never naman siya naging ganyan samin " I replied.
