"Jimmy, please, don't take it personally. I swear, it was an accident. I don't like him in that way! We we're tired and hyper!"
Jimmy turned away, a mix of emotions crossing over his face; sad, angry, and betrayed. "Noel, I can't believe you did this."
I started to sob until I was gasping. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
"I'm gonna kill that dude," He stormed out of the bathroom. I followed him and tried to stop him by grasping his arm, but he wriggled out of my grip.
"Don't hurt him!" I screamed. Carter looked perplexed instead of scared. He stood up, arching a brow.
"What the fuck, dude?" Jimmy's voice rose.
Carter held up his hands defensively. "Hey, at least we didn't make love," He tried to laugh it off.
Jimmy crinkled his eyebrows. "Make love? What're you, a girl?"
He shook his head. "Dude, I swear, it was just a reaction. I wouldn't do anything on purpose to steal her away from you."
It went eerily silent before Jimmy threw a punch at him right in the eye. I shrieked, hatred filling the pit of my stomach.
Carter covered his eye with his hand, wincing in pain. I then grabbed Jimmy's arm and pulled him to the front door.
"Leave," I said in a monotone.
Jimmy pursed his lips, walking out of the house. I slammed the door, leaning against it and sliding down. My cheeks were damp from tears.
"Noel," I heard Carter say, his footsteps ascending down the hall. He sat next to me and pulled me into his embrace, softly running his hand along my hair. "This is all my fault. I'm sorry."
"No, Carter, don't blame yourself," I said through sobs. "Do you need ice for your eye?" I looked up and gazed at his eye. It was becoming swollen and purple.
"No, I'll get it."
Before he could fully get up, I grasped onto his arm and pulled him down until his lips crashed into mine. I didn't know what I was doing; I felt like I was going mad. Every time I tried to tell myself that I still loved Jimmy, the thought went blank.
"Noel, you have no idea what you're doing right now," Carter broke the kiss. "I mean, I don't mean that in a rude way, but I see Jimmy being overprotective as something you should be thankful for. Like, he didn't even know me, but he was still really tense about you hanging out with another guy. He loves you, Noel. You shouldn't push him away. And, I'm not gay or anything, but he's really hot. I mean, his eyebrows!"
I giggled. "I know, his eyebrows are sexy, aren't they?" I was seeing it from Carter's perspective; maybe he was right. I was being too sensitive. I was with the wrong person. I love Jimmy, but I was too incompetent at the moment that I can't even realize that. But he probably doesn't even want to talk to me. He's probably pissed at me.
Breaking the silence, there was a knock at the door. "NOEL FELICITY PELLETIER, I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU!" It was Daniella. She probably heard.
"The fuck?" Carter said. He opened the door, and Daniella and Marion came rushing in.
"Noel, what the fuck is wrong with you?!" Daniella squeals, walking up to me until our faces were inches away. "I get a call from Jimmy, saying that you're fucking another guy?"
"Fucking?" Carter chimed in.
"Oh my---it's you! You're the...wow," Marion yelled, pointing at him. "Show me your dick, right now."
"I'm not showing you my dick!"
"Is it as big as Jimmy's?" Marion came back.
"I don't know how big Jimmy's dick is!"
