Chapter 27

Pravinya POV:

I didn't know when but I got a call from Ashish mom saying that he fell down from staircase and my heart just stopped beating when I heard that news and I rushed to his house to him in pain while he had bandages all around his right leg , " Ashish!! What happened?" I asked him while my eyes are in verge of releasing tears , " pravinya ah.... I am in pain" he said and caught my hand which is on his chest , " shh it's okay it will be alright" I said and patted his head slowly making him fall into sleep, I caresses his cheeks for a while and looked at his painful face and my heart just broke , after he fell asleep I released my hand from his hold slowly and went near aunt who sat there with worry " how aunt ? He was good and healthy till yesterday?" I asked her , she looked at me and said " idk ma , today morning he was getting ready to go somewhere and suddenly we heard a loud shout , we rushed down to see he fell down and crying in pain" , " but what did doctors say?" I questioned her ; " they said he will be alright within 4 weeks , just a crack itseems" she said and I sighed in relief.

" pravinya I think we should postpone the wedding ma as he is not well" she said and I nodded in agreement postponing it to after 2 months, guess what yesterday we were eager to marry and now we need to wait a month extra but it's okay god is testing our love fore eachother.

" Ashish , wake up baby you need to have lunch" I mumbled while waking him up , I miss his naughty remarks, those smirks and everything, He woke up and I helped him to sit up slowly " I am sorry pravinya , I promised you that I will take care of you but I failed" he said and looked at me with teary eyes , I sighed before saying " it's fine okay you don't have to stress , we both will take care of each other in hard times , it's not like you will not take care of me if I fall sick isn't it? So don't worry Ashish you will be alright very soon , just take it as God testing  our love for each other" he looked at me for some time and gave me a mere smile " love? " and he said , I nodded and said " love" , " if this feeling is called love then I love you pravinya " he said and I looked at him shocked ," I thought you will never confess thank god" I whispered but he heard anyway, he shook his head and said " since childhood I never experienced love so it's little hard for me to figure it out pravinya , but knowing that I feel different with you made me confused but still I was focused on my feelings and I love you so freaking much" , I looked at him with a grin and spoke " I love you too Ashish " he looked delighted at my words and stretched his hands for a hug and I immediately yet cautiously hugged him back, " where is my pant dropping kiss?" He spoke in my neck and I blushed hard.

" shh aunt and uncle are near , don't you have shame" I said in a stern voice , " so what? They know we are going to marry anyway " he said in a cool tone and I gritted my teeth before saying , " have some shame Ashish!" , " would you do it if my parents are not around?" He asked and I nodded , " then close the door and lay beside me" he said and I shook my head.

" what would they think if we bolt the door ?" I asked him , " Amma!!!!!!" He shouted and I immediately silenced his mouth with my palm and looked at him wide eyed , but he licked my palm and I blushed , " don't I will close the door" I mumbled and removed my palm before closing the door behind me slowly without any sound.

" come come I am waiting" he looked at me excited , " hello mister have some food first"
I said and made him eat lunch , " did you have lunch?" He asked and I nodded as no , " then have it with me as well" he said and I denied saying " I will have it with aunt" ; " why? Don't you want to eat with me?" He questioned, " it's not like that Ashish , aunt has been worried all day , I know uncle is with her but as a daughter in law I should be also there for her na anyhow I will be always with you 24/7" I said and he nodded understanding my thoughts.

" we postponed our marriage" I said and he looked at me shocked before saying " what?!! Why?!!" , I looked at his expression and laughed before saying " we will marry once your fit and fine mister" , " how long did they postpone it ? Doctor said I can walk within 2 weeks na" he asked and i shook my head " they postponed it for another 2 months and doctor said you will be fine by 2 weeks but you will be able to walk and do all stuff by your own by 4 weeks" I said and he looked at me with cute eyes and said " how could they decide this without my knowledge?" , " you were sleeping and we don't wanna disturb you so yeah" I said and he nodded.

He looked dull and I wanted to cheer him up , " don't worry Ashish , just think about it if we marry before you get fine then how will we celebrate our first night ? But if we marry after you become fit and fine mister then see we will break the bed" I mumbled while blush coated my cheeks , he smirked at me before he placed a kiss on my lips and said " ahaa? So you were thinking all these huh?" , I nodded at him and lowered my eyelashes.
