Chapter 5: Take It Or Leave It

Usagi woke up the next morning. Her vision went a little blurry as she did so, but returned to normal not so long after.

She stretched and noticed a person sitting on the chair next to her. She was silent for a moment. Her sapphire eyes locked on the strange figure with green skin and some elf ears who happened to be the person next to her. Of course, he was asleep, but he had watched over her throughout the night.

Her eyes widened as she tried moving out of the bed. Unfortunately, she fell off the bed as she attempted to escape.

The green being's eyes opened as he heard the 'thump'. He sat up from the chair and looked at the ground where Usagi was currently down.

"You okay?" He asked, staring down at her.

Usagi frowned, staring back. "Where am I!? Who are you!? Why did you kidnap me!?"

"I didn't kidnap you. I saved you. I brought you to the cave after I found you somewhere in the woods when you were exhausted." The green being explained.

"Huh?"

He groaned. "Do I have to explain to you again?"

"What are you?"

He gave her a confused look. "Why do you know what to know?"

"Because you had pointing ears and green skin. What are you, really?" Usagi asked.

He sighed. "I'm Namekian."

"Then you're an... alien?" Usagi asked again.

He nodded. "Yes. I see you figured out what I am."

"What's your name?"

"I'm Piccolo. And you are?"

"I'm Usagi."

Then his eyes widened, making Usagi flinch. "Wait! You're Usagi!? The Usagi I had been searching for!?"

"Did my so-called friends tell you about me?" Usagi asked, annoyed.

He nodded. "Yes. They told me everything about what you did yesterday, so I had to come find and then confront you."

"Then you're here to kill me. That's why my friends want me dead." Usagi looked away with arms folded, feeling angry.

"That's not true. They wanted me to bring you back to them. They were worried about you." Piccolo said.

"Why do they care!? After Mamoru broke up with me!? After my friends talked trash about me!? After everything I did is to make them despise me!? To make me look like a terrible person!? They never cared about me! They only cared about me being dead and I don't get why they betrayed me!" Usagi protested.

Piccolo blinked in confusion. "Wait... so you're telling me your boyfriend dumped you and your friends mistreated you horribly for no reason?"

"They didn't tell you what they did?"

"Krillin barely told me that, which I don't understand him," Piccolo replied.

"So are you going to take me back to my ex-boyfriend and ex-friends since you found me?" Usagi asked, worried.

He nodded. "I have to. This is for your own good for what you did to them."

At that moment, Usagi began to cry as she buried her face.

"Are you seriously crying!?" Piccolo grunted, widening his eyes at seeing her sobbing. "Will you quit that already!?"

"I don't want to go back! They're always so mean to me! Even though I'm afraid to tell Goku and the others about what happened, they would take Mamo's side by thinking I'm a horrible person who never gets to spend time with my ex-boyfriend! That's why I don't want to go back!" Unfortunately, Usagi couldn't stop crying as she made Piccolo annoying a lot.
