"Nahi, Vishwas aisa kuch nahi kar sakta, hum jaante hain usse acche se…!" Anubhav mumbled to himself, vehemently denying the mounting evidence against Vishwas. His trembling hands gripped the edge of the sink as he stared into the mirror, trying to silence the doubts creeping into his mind.

"Jaante toh tum Karishma ko bhi the, par usne bhi goli chala di na tum par…!" His inner voice sneered, its tone a haunting mixture of mockery and bitter truth. Anubhav’s gaze wavered, his reflection offering no solace.

He shook his head, a stubborn resolve hardening in his expression. "Kuch bhi ho, hum nahi maan sakte ki Vishwas Vikrant aur Genda ke saath mil sakta hai. Agar aisa hota, toh ek saal pehle hume kyun bachata? Hume sabse chhupa kar kyun rakhta…?" He argued, desperation lacing his voice.

The voice within him was relentless. "Shayad koi karan ho. Tumhe yaad hai na, usse tumhare goli lagne ke waqt kaise pata chala ki tum kahan ho? Aur sahi waqt par tumhe bacha kar kaise le aaya?"

Anubhav faltered, his frown deepening. "Yeh baat toh hume bhi samajh nahi aayi," he admitted reluctantly. "Par Vishwas ke anusaar hamare vyavhar mein badlav ki wajah se usne hum par nazar rakhi thi…!"

The inner voice scoffed. "Aur tumne maan li uski baat? Tum bhool rahe ho, Anubhav, jis ran kshetra mein tum khade ho, yahan sab tumhare apne hi hain. Wahi jin par tumne kabhi had se zyada bharosa kiya tha. Tum Arjun nahi, Abhimanyu ho is waqt. Jo is chakravyuh mein apno ki wajah se fasa hai, aur wahi apne apnepan ka mukhauta pehne khade hain. Kisi par bharosa mat karo chahe woh Siya ho ya Vishwas!"

The harsh reality struck him like a dagger to the chest, but before he could dwell further, his phone buzzed, shattering his thoughts. Quickly, he picked it up and answered, masking his emotions.

"Kya hua, Vishwas ji?" He asked, mimicking Dhruv’s voice with precision.

On the other end, Vishwas sounded apologetic. "Aaj ka meeting cancel karna padega, Anjali ki tabiyat kharab hai. Use hospital le jaa raha hoon."

"Koi baat nahi, tum Anjali ka dhyan rakho," Anubhav replied softly, his tone laced with concern. Just as he was about to hang up, he hesitated. "Vishwas…!"

"Koi problem hai, Dhruv?" Vishwas asked, worry evident in his voice.

Anubhav’s expression darkened as he asked, "Tumhare ghar mein camera laga hai, tumhe pata hai?"

"Haan, maine hi safety ke liye do hidden cameras lagwa rakhe hain. Court cases ki wajah se kai log dhamki dene ki koshish karte hain, toh saboot rehta hai. Par don’t worry, uska access sirf mere paas hai. Isliye hamara plan kisi ko pata nahi chalega," Vishwas explained calmly.

Anubhav hummed in acknowledgment. "Theek hai, phir kal subah milte hain," he said, ending the call.

As he placed the phone down, Vishwas muttered to himself on the other side, "Camera ke baare mein Anu ko bataya toh tha, par bhool gaya. *Sighs* Lagta hai drugs ka asar abhi tak gaya nahi hai."

Meanwhile, Anubhav’s mind churned with suspicion. After a moment's hesitation, he dialed another number.

His tone shifted to icy authority. "Hum bol rahe hain. Ek aadmi ki poori kundali chahiye kal subah tak. Agar nahi mili, toh tum jaante ho, Sarkar kya cheez hai," He warned coldly, his voice dripping with menace.
