6 MONTHS LATER......
Scene 1
(Steve's room, early morning)
Steve: [dreaming] Suzie, you're looking so beautiful...
Suzie: So come closer...
Steve: Can I... can I touch you?
(Suddenly, a long, thick braid wraps around Suzie and pulls her away. Steve jerks awake, sweating and yelling.).
Steve: Suzie!! Suzie!!
(Alex bursts into the room, clearly annoyed)
Alex: Dude, what's going on? It's six in the morning.
Steve: [looking shaken] I saw Suzie. She was right next to me! She's alive, Alex!
Alex: [sighs] Steve, it was just a dream. You know Suzie was pulled into the portal. Do you really think Raven kept her alive?
Steve: I don't know, but I can feel it. My gut's telling me she's alive.
(Krishna enters the room, trying to lighten the mood with his usual upbeat energy.)
Krishna: Morning, gentlemen! What's with the gloomy faces? We're in Goa! Sun, sand, swimming-let's make some memories!
Steve: Memories? Suzie's still out there, trapped. We've just been sitting around, assuming she's dead. Why aren't we doing anything?
(Steve gets emotional, and Alex clenches his fists in frustration.)
Alex: And what do you suggest we do? Open that cursed portal again? Break into a sealed lab? I'm sure the whole town would love that idea.
Steve: I just want to save her. I can't just leave her out there...
Krishna: Steve, look, I get it, but... we're not superheroes. We can't just go around opening portals to rescue girls who might not even-
(Steve turns away, tears welling up as he recalls his time with Suzie.)
(Krishna and Alex exchange a look and walk out into the hall, speaking in hushed voices.).
Alex: So much for a Goa vacation. This was supposed to help Steve get over things.
Krishna: Yeah, I thought the beach, the sun... some coconuts. Clearly, I miscalculated. [sighs]
Alex: He hasn't moved on at all. But... what if he's right? What if Suzie's alive?
Krishna: [chuckles] Don't go all Steve on me, bro. The last thing this town needs is more chaos.
Alex: But hear me out-what if someone's out there reopening the portal? Dr. Jonathan vanished months ago. What if he's still experimenting?
Krishna: He wouldn't do that. Not after last time. Besides, his family should be safe from Yuvraj now... right?
Alex: [hesitates] Let's hope so.
Scene 2: Inside the Portal
(Suzie is tied up in Yuvraj's room, exhausted but defiant. Yuvraj walks in, holding a vial of strange liquid. He drips some onto her locket, which dulls immediately.)
Suzie: Leave me alone, you bastard! You're not getting anything from me!
Yuvraj: Oh, I'll get what I want, baby. [smirks] You see, this locket has superpowers. Just hand it over and say, "I give this to the one who truly deserves it."
Suzie: Over my dead body.
(In a rage, Yuvraj strikes her, but Raven steps in, grabbing his arm.)
Raven: Stop! If she dies, we lose our chance. We can only take the locket if she willingly gives it up. Patience, Yuvraj.
