SEASON 2 EPISODE 3: THE CURSED HEADLINES

Scene 1: Hotel Room – Morning

(The room is dimly lit with sunlight streaming through partially drawn curtains. Alex and Steve sit at a small table, both looking tense. A steaming cup of coffee sits in front of each of them.)

Alex: (stirring his coffee absentmindedly)

"I think our first move should be finding that old man."

Steve: (leaning back in his chair, skeptical)
"And how exactly are we going to do that? It’s like searching for water in rajasthan ."

Alex: (determined)
"We’ll search every possible place. Every shadowy alley, abandoned house, even the places that don’t seem suspicious. He has to be somewhere."

Steve: (sighing)
"Fine. But until then, we need to gather more clues. Let’s look through the newspaper again—maybe there’s something we missed."

Alex: (picking up the folded newspaper on the table)
"Yeah. Let’s see."

He flips through the pages, scanning quickly. His hand suddenly freezes mid-turn, and his face pales.)

Alex: (shocked, pointing at the page)
"Steve! Look at this!"

(Steve leans over, his eyes widening in horror. The words in the newspaper are shifting, forming sentences on their own. A new headline appears: “Martha Kills Krishna – Date: Today.”)

Steve: (standing up, his voice trembling)
"What the hell is that?! Is this some kind of sick joke?"

Alex: (stammering, trying to process it)
"No… no way. That’s not possible! Martha would never… she can’t kill Krishna!"

Steve: (grimly)
"Look, Alex… whatever is written in this newspaper has been happening. Remember yesterday? The headline about mr parkers disappearance ? It happened exactly as written , And now this…"

(They both stare at the newspaper as the date on the article flickers, changing from Tomorrow to Today.)

Alex: (panicking)
"We have to stop this! We can’t let it happen. We need to change it."

Steve: (gritting his teeth)

"How? This isn’t just some regular newspaper. It’s cursed or something!"

Alex: (desperately grabbing the newspaper)
"I’ll tear it apart! If we destroy it, maybe we can stop whatever’s happening."

(Alex tries to rip the page, but the paper feels unnaturally strong, resisting his attempts. Steve joins him, both pulling and tearing with all their strength. The paper doesn’t even crease.)

Steve: (breathing heavily, letting go in frustration)
"It’s… it’s untearable!"

Alex: (slamming the paper on the table)
"There has to be another way. We can’t just sit here and do nothing while Krishna’s life is at stake!"

Steve: (looking at the newspaper warily)
"If this thing is predicting the future, maybe it can tell us how it happens. We need to find Martha before it’s too late."

Alex: (nodding, his voice firm)
"Right. We’ll stop her, no matter what it takes."

(The camera zooms in on the newspaper as the headline flickers again. This time, a chilling sentence appears beneath the original text: “You cannot change fate.”)
