SEASON 2 EPISODE 2 : WHISPERS IN THE DARK

Martha's Bedroom
Martha lies on her bed, clutching Alex's photo. Her voice is soft and melancholic as she sings, lost in her thoughts.

Martha (singing, softly):
"Why are you ignoring me, Alex? What's wrong with you? Why won't you tell me...? I need to know... I wish you were here with me right now."

Her voice trails off as her emotions overwhelm her. Suddenly, a faint sound echoes from the hall, snapping her out of her thoughts.

Martha (calling out):
"Mom? Is that you?"

There's no response. The house is eerily silent, except for the faint creaking of floorboards. With a growing unease, she gets out of bed and heads toward the hall.

The Hallway
The dim light casts long shadows as Martha cautiously steps forward, her voice trembling.

Martha:
"Mom? Are you here?"

Her bare foot suddenly slips on something wet, and she catches herself against the wall. She glances down and freezes. A strange red and black liquid spreads across the floor, shimmering ominously.

Martha (whispering):
"Oh no... not again. The same liquid...!"

Suddenly, a raspy voice cuts through the silence from behind her.

Voice:
"That's my blood, dear."

Martha whirls around to see her mother, her eyes dark and hollow, her face twisted in a sinister grin. In her hand, she clutches a knife. Before Martha can react, her mother lunges at her.

Martha (shouting):
"Mom! What are you doing?! Leave me! Control yourself!"

She struggles desperately, managing to push her mother away and bolts toward her room, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

Martha's Bedroom
Martha slams the door shut and locks it, leaning against it as her heart pounds. Her hands shake as she grabs her phone.

Martha (panicked):
"I need help... The shadows... they're controlling her!"

From outside the door, her mother's voice turns guttural, banging on the door with terrifying force.

Martha's Mom (shouting):
"Open the door! Open it now! DARWAZA KHOL! KHOL DARWAZA!"

Martha backs away, tears streaming down her face as she pleads.

Martha (desperate):
"Mom, please! Fight it! Don't let them take over!"

Suddenly, the banging stops. The silence is deafening. Martha clutches her phone and sends a hurried message to Steve and Krishna.

She puts her phone down, hesitating before approaching the door. Her voice trembles.

Martha:
"Mom...? Are you okay now? I'm opening the door... Mom?"

She slowly unlocks the door and opens it with a crack. The hallway is empty. Her breath catches as she glances around.

Martha (whispering):
"Mom...?"

Before she can react, her mother drops from above, landing on her with a blood-curdling scream.

SCENE 2 ( GOA , MORNING , Alex's room ....)

The room is dimly lit by the early morning sun streaming through the curtains. Krishna is pacing the floor, holding his phone, while Alex is still half-asleep, sprawled on his bed.)
