Londen's POV

The soft hum of the city outside filled the silence of the room as Jaden and I sat together on the couch, curled up in our own little world. It was a quiet evening, a rare break from the madness of touring and the hustle of everyday life. The kind of night where we didn’t need anything but each other’s company.

The soft glow from the nearby lamp illuminated Jaden’s face as he leaned back, his fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns on my arm. I couldn’t help but smile at how natural everything felt between us now—how easy it was to just exist together, without needing anything more.

But then, in the middle of the quiet, he spoke.

"Hey, Londy," Jaden said softly, his voice breaking the peaceful stillness of the moment. I could hear a slight hesitation in his tone, something I wasn’t used to.

"Yeah?" I answered, tilting my head to look at him. He met my gaze, his eyes a little more serious than usual.

"I’ve been thinking a lot lately," he began, his fingers still gently grazing my skin. "And I think it’s time we take the next step. I want us to build something together. Something that’s just ours."

My heart skipped a beat, and I could feel the shift in the air. There was something different about this conversation. Something deeper.

"Next step?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

Jaden took a deep breath, clearly gathering his thoughts before continuing. "Yeah. I want us to get a house together. Not just a place to crash after shows or tours. I want a real home. Somewhere we can be together every day. Somewhere we can really grow and build our future."

I blinked, surprised by his words, unsure of how to respond. A house? Together? The thought was so... big. It was more than just moving in together—it was about creating a space where we could build our lives side by side.

"You mean… a house?" I repeated, my voice a little shaky, but my heart was racing in the best way.

"Yeah," he said, looking at me with that familiar softness in his eyes, the one that made me feel like he was seeing straight into my soul. "A home for us. Not just for now, but for the future. I want a place where we don’t have to rush through the moments, where we can wake up next to each other every day and just... live. Together. I’m not asking for anything perfect. I just want us. And I want us to be in a place where we can really be ourselves."

I could feel my heart swell in my chest as the weight of his words settled in. It was crazy to think about, but I couldn’t deny how right it felt. Over the years, we had built something special. Something that had changed us both. A home together—it seemed like the next natural step.

"Are you serious?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper, my chest tight with emotion.

"Yeah, I’m serious," Jaden replied with a soft chuckle, reaching out to gently take my hand. "I’ve never been more serious about anything. I want to wake up with you every day. I want to come home to you, wherever we are. I want us to build a real life. A home. With you. So, what do you think?"

I was silent for a moment, overwhelmed by everything he was offering. This wasn’t just a house—it was a promise. A promise of a future. A future I couldn’t imagine without him.

Finally, I took a deep breath and smiled. "I think... I think that sounds perfect, Jaden. More than perfect."

His face broke into a wide grin, the kind that made my heart flutter every time. "So, it’s a yes?"

I laughed, nodding, still trying to absorb the enormity of what we were talking about. "Yes. Yes, a million times yes."

Jaden squeezed my hand, his expression one of pure joy. "I’ve been dreaming about this for a while now. I’m so glad you feel the same."

The idea of a house, a home, with Jaden felt like everything I had ever wanted, and more. It was the next step in our journey together. A place where we could be ourselves, make memories, and continue to grow. And I was ready. More than ready.

---

As the night went on, we found ourselves talking about what that home would look like—where we wanted to live, what we wanted in each room, and how we could make it our own. We talked about our future like we had all the time in the world, and I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of peace. Because with Jaden by my side, I knew I had everything I needed.

"I’m glad you said yes," Jaden whispered as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. "We’re gonna make this work, Londy. Together."

And in that moment, I knew we would. Because together, there was nothing we couldn’t do.
