Londen's POV

The day I found out I was pregnant feels like it happened yesterday. And yet, here I was, holding our son in my arms, staring down at his tiny, perfect face. The soft, warm light of the hospital room made everything feel surreal. Jaden stood beside me, his hand gently resting on my back, a proud smile on his face as he gazed at our baby.

"You did so good, Londy," Jaden whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "He’s perfect."

I smiled at him, my heart swelling. "I can’t believe we have a son."

The little boy in my arms, our son, seemed so small, so fragile, but at the same time, I couldn’t imagine my life without him. It felt like he had always been meant to be a part of us. It was incredible to think that just months ago, I had been standing in front of a bathroom mirror, shocked by the pregnancy test in my hand. Now, here I was, a mother, with Jaden by my side, and our son peacefully sleeping in my arms.

"I can’t wait for you to meet the world, little man," I murmured, brushing my finger gently across his tiny hand.

Jaden leaned in, kissing my forehead. "He’s going to have an amazing life, Londy. We’re going to make sure of it."

I looked up at him, meeting his eyes, and everything seemed to slow down. The world outside the hospital room was still, distant, but in that moment, it felt like everything had fallen perfectly into place. Jaden and I had been through so much together, but nothing felt more real than this. The love between us had created a life. Our life, our family. And I was more than ready to embrace it all.

---

The days following our son’s birth were a whirlwind of family visits, hospital staff, and sleepless nights, but every second felt worth it. The exhaustion didn’t matter when I would look at Jaden and see the look of pure joy on his face whenever he held our son.

Our son. Our family.

I couldn’t wait to show him the world.

When we were finally ready to leave the hospital, Jaden and I packed up our things, our son bundled up in a soft, cozy blanket in my arms. Walking out of the hospital with him felt like a new beginning. The world was full of unknowns, but there was one thing I knew for sure—we had everything we needed right here.

"Ready for the next chapter?" Jaden asked, his voice full of hope as he reached for the car door.

I looked down at our son, who was now peacefully sleeping against me, and nodded. "Yeah. I’m ready."

---

At home, it felt like the world had shifted. The house was no longer just a place we lived—it had become our home. Our family was beginning. It was like a dream, one that I wasn’t sure I deserved, but was so thankful for.

The first few nights were hard. We were sleep-deprived, adjusting to the routine of caring for our son, but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Jaden was an amazing father—helping with feedings, changing diapers, comforting our son when he cried. It was clear how much he loved him already.

"I don’t want to miss a single second of this," Jaden whispered one night, looking down at our son as he fell asleep in his arms. "Every moment is a gift."

I snuggled against him, my head on his shoulder, as I watched our baby drift off to sleep. "I feel the same way," I whispered back. "This is everything I’ve ever wanted. You, me, him... We’re a family."

Jaden kissed the top of my head. "The best family. And we’ve got a lifetime ahead of us."

---

As the weeks went by, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much had changed. There had been so many unknowns when I first found out I was pregnant—fear, doubt, anxiety—but those feelings were replaced with overwhelming love. And as I watched Jaden with our son, I knew we had made the right choice. Our love had created something beautiful, something that would continue to grow with every passing day.

There were hard moments, of course. Sleepless nights, the endless demands of caring for a newborn, the overwhelming responsibility of parenthood—but through it all, we had each other. We had our son. And I couldn’t imagine anything else.

Jaden leaned over and kissed my cheek, his voice full of quiet joy. "Thank you for giving me this, Londy. For giving me him."

I looked up at him, my heart full. "We gave this to each other, Jaden. We’re in this together."

Our son stirred in my arms, letting out a small, contented sigh, and I couldn’t help but smile. This was just the beginning of our journey. The next chapter had begun, and I couldn’t wait to see where it would take us.

---

As I looked down at the tiny, perfect face of our son, I felt everything in my heart settle into place. This was my family now. This was my life. And no matter what came our way, we would face it together. I couldn’t wait to watch our son grow, to show him everything the world had to offer, and to continue building this beautiful, crazy life with Jaden.

Together. Always.
