“Alright, Mackie and Addison, last stream for the month. Make sure to engage with the viewers, okay?” Ms. K said, her tone firm but encouraging as she moved around the studio. “All the stickers and donations for today will go to the typhoon victims, so let’s make it count.”  Mackie and Addison nodded in unison, busying themselves with their respective setups. The room was quieter than usual, save for the faint hum of equipment and the occasional rustling of wires. Today’s stream would be different—just the two of them, no guests, no distractions.

As Ms. K left the room, Mackie glanced at Addison, who was adjusting her microphone with meticulous focus.
“You ready for this?” Mackie asked, her voice light but carrying a hint of awkwardness. “Of course,” Addison replied without looking up, her fingers fidgeting with the mic. “We’ve done this a hundred times.” “Yeah, but…” Mackie hesitated, searching for the right words. “This time it's just us.”
Addison paused, finally meeting Mackie’s gaze. “Yeah.”  The weight of unspoken words hung between them, the silence louder than any conversation they could have. Mackie opened her mouth to speak again, but the streaming software’s countdown interrupted her. “Three, two…” The familiar chime signaled they were live. Addison took a deep breath, her professional smile slipping into place. “Good evening, everyone!” she greeted, her voice smooth and cheerful. Mackie followed suit, though her thoughts lingered. “Hey guys, welcome to tonight’s stream! Let’s make this one special.”

“Good evening, everyone! Proceeds for tonight’s stream will go to help the typhoon victims in Northern Luzon. So para mas madami tayong matulungan, drop your stickers, and I’ll do your requests!” Mackenzie said, smiling brightly at the camera, trying to keep the energy upbeat.
The comments immediately flooded in:

@mackieboo: Ay ako na 'to!!

@AlasMananas: Drop ako Adarna pag nireveal mo crush mo!!

@kabitniMackie: Maghihirap, makapag-request lang.

@AddiVerse: Addison, request din kami!!!
Mackenzie glanced nervously at Addison. “Are you open to requests daw?” she asked cautiously. Addison raised an eyebrow but nodded. “Uhm, yeah, sure… as long as it’s an acceptable request,” she replied, her tone measured but the tension between them palpable. “@AlasMananas, wala ba mas simpleng request?” Mackenzie joked, her cheeks turning a shade pinker.
The comments came in even more insistently:

@MaDdiCtion: Maglalapag ako basta mag-hug kayo!!

@AddisonLim: Ako na magsasalba sa nasalanta pag nag-hug kayo😔

@Diorable: Mackie, call Dior—lapag ako 10x.

@asawangAlas: Sapakin si Jhai for 5x halo-halo!

“@asawangAlas, kahit isa na lang, pero 5 sapak pwede,” Mackenzie joked, scrolling through the comments. “Bakit naman kasi ganyan mga request niyo, grabe kayo!” she said, shaking her head.
Addison leaned closer to point at one of the comments. “Do this one. That’s a lot,” she said, her tone calm but firm.
Mackenzie furrowed her brows, clearly not on board. “Eh?? Hindi ba pwedeng iba?” she protested. Addison gave her a look. “Madami yun, gawin mo na.”
Mackenzie hesitated, then sighed dramatically. “@Diorable, lapag mo na,” she said, holding her phone up and calling Dior.
The fans went wild in the chat:

@kabitniMackie: Ay ang OG!

@MaDdiIFC: Three Ibong Adarna i-end call mo agad!!

@gabnalabko: Ibebenta ko bahay namin, i-reveal niyo label ni Shan at Gab!

@AlasMalas: MaDdi hug ohhh, papaalisin ko yung bagyo!
“Hello—” Dior’s voice came from the phone, but Mackenzie immediately ended the call. “MaDdi Fan Club, deal na agad!” Mackenzie quipped, putting the phone down quickly. Addison glanced at the comments, her expression softening. “Guys, you don’t have to spend money if you need it yourselves. Yung panonood niyo lang, it helps na,” she said sincerely.
Mackenzie stared at Addison for a moment, her lips curving into a small, unguarded smile. She muttered, almost inaudibly, “Ganda talaga…” Addison caught it, her brows raising as she nudged Mackenzie’s arm. “Uy, focus,” she teased, snapping Mackenzie back to reality. Mackenzie cleared her throat, flustered. “O-oh, uhm… would you be okay doing this one?” she asked, pointing at another comment.
Addison glanced at it, then nodded.
“Okay, sa mga magda-drop daw kapag nag-hug kami, lapag niyo na,” Mackenzie announced with a playful smirk.
The comments erupted:

@MaDdiFC: Eto na eto na!!!!!

@alascard: Dapat 100 seconds!

@asawaniMackie: Pag kay Addison magpaparaya ako!!

@AddisonsGF: Hanggat may naglalapag, walang bibitaw!
“Kalma, kalma,” Addison said, laughing at the overwhelming excitement in the chat.

Mackenzie stepped closer to Addison, wrapping her arms around her in a hug that was both gentle and desperate. The way she clung to Addison made it clear—she had been waiting for this moment far too long. “Grabe, para namang miss na miss mo ko,” Addison whispered softly, her voice carrying a teasing lilt.
Mackenzie’s reply was just as quiet, almost like a secret between them. “Eh kasi hindi mo ko pinapansin kanina…” she murmured, her words brushing against Addison’s ear.
The fans in the chat were losing it, their comments flooding the screen:  @bakla4alas: Luh, touch deprived ata si Mackie.

@kutoniJhai: Nakakakilig kahit yung mga nasalanta kinikilig.

@DiCkieNation: Parang magpapalit na ko username, choss xD.

Addison glanced at the monitor, noticing how the flow of stickers was starting to slow down. “Mackie, they’re starting to calm down—” she began, but Mackenzie didn’t let go. Instead, Mackenzie buried her face into the crook of Addison’s neck, her breath warm against her skin. Addison’s heart skipped a beat as she felt Mackenzie hold on tighter. “Gising ka pa ba?” Addison teased, trying to sound lighthearted despite the butterflies building in her chest. “Just a little while longer, please,” Mackenzie murmured, her voice quiet but filled with something more. Addison sighed softly, resting her chin on Mackenzie’s shoulder. Then, almost instinctively, she tightened her grip, pulling Mackenzie closer.

As the stream ended, Mackenzie leaned back in her chair, glancing over at Addison, who was tidying up the desk. The room felt quieter now, the hum of excitement from the fans replaced with a calmer, more personal atmosphere.
Addison turned to Mackenzie, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “Thanks for helping out tonight,” she said softly. Mackenzie smiled, stretching her arms lazily. “Of course. Anything for you… and the viewers, I guess.” She added the last part with a smirk, earning a small laugh from Addison. Addison grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder. “I should get going. Thanks again.” Mackenzie stood up. “I’ll take you home.” Addison hesitated, shaking her head. “You don’t have to, Mackie. It’s late, this isn't part of your work. This isn’t your obligation.” Mackenzie stepped closer, her voice softer but resolute. “It’s not an obligation. I want to do it.” Her gaze held Addison’s, sincere and unwavering. Addison bit her lip, her hesitation melting away under Mackenzie’s warm expression.
As they made their way to the car, the drive was quiet at first, the city lights flickering through the windows. Mackenzie glanced over at Addison, who seemed lost in thought, her fingers idly playing with the strap of her bag.
“Hey,” Mackenzie said, breaking the silence. “Before we head to your place… do you want to stop by the overlook? Watch the city lights again?”
Addison turned to her, surprised. “The overlook?”
“Yeah,” Mackenzie said, her tone gentle. “Like last time. Just us.”
Addison’s lips curved into a soft smile, and she nodded. “Just us.”
