The rain is such a peaceful sound,
Echoing through the quiet town.
Hitting the shingles of my roof,
Creating a sense of calm aloof.I curl up with a book in hand,
Lost in a world so grand.
The gloomy yet cozy atmosphere,
Brings a sense of peace so near.Gray November skies above,
Remind us of the season's love.
As droplets fall from the heavens high,
I watch them dance, twirl, and fly.The sunny days are now gone,
But the rain brings a peaceful dawn.
The smell of wet asphalt, oh so sweet,
As I sit back and enjoy this cozy treat.I embrace the rainy day with glee,
For it brings a sense of serenity.
So let the rain keep falling down,
In this peaceful, cozy town.
