Fictional Love

Is it weird to love fictional characters?
My locket contains photos of you,
And I have written fanfiction about you.
No love song can ever come close
To describing what I feel for you in my soul.

Ever since I started loving you,
I have saved every fanart of you
I can find.
Is it weird that I do this?
Maybe.
But falling for fictional characters
Is my secret.

I snuggle my pillow at night,
Pretending it's you.
I imagine how kissing you would feel,
And my heart begins to race.
I imagine our cuddles and blush,
Providing me with new scenarios for my story.

I become envious
When another character shows interest in you.
You are mine,
And mine only!
They don't deserve you like I do.
I wish you were real
So I can love you
The way you should be loved.
