With the great power of a heavenly official, a sudden gust of wind roars through the gambling den. Xie Lian pulls Y/n close to support her as Y/n opens one of her eyes, suddenly becoming shocked and  in awe of the sight in front of her. The gambling table throws itself in the direction of the red curtain where the elegant man in red sat behind.

Y/n flinches, waiting for the worst. After feeling the impact of what felt like the strength of a tornado, the whole den becomes silent. When she looked back up at what was left of the chaos, the man behind the curtain was unharmed. However, on the floor were large, sharp spikes of wood. Hanging above the spikes was the young heavenly official hanging hopelessly above them on the ceiling. Y/n rubbed her eyes to see if she was hallucinating but by the time she returned her small hands back to her side, she could see that everything she saw, did indeed happen.

The gambling den then erupts into cheers and sneers at the young, reckless heavenly official who squirmed and shouted at nobody in particular to put him back onto the ground.

"That's what you get with challenging the Ghost King himself!!"

"Drop him! Drop him!"

"Why don't we gamble for who gets to take him home?!"

This wasn't good. Xie Lian and the Wind Master share a nervous glance as the Wind Master cries, "This is bad! This is bad! How do we get him down!!"

Xie Lian ponders for a moment. "Well, the only way is to gamble him back...How's your luck, Wind Master?"

"My luck varies...sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, it's 50/50 and we only have one chance."

Xie Lian sighs defeatedly, knowing that his luck is outrageously bad and he wasn't gonna let Y/n get into gambling, even the idea to him was preposterous. Then, Wind Master's bright, ocean blue eyes then widen in a sudden realisation. He pushes his way to the front of the crowd of ghosts encircling the gambling table.

"Here, here! Highest roll is so overdone! What if smallest wins? Sound fun?"

The Ghosts turn to look at the Wind Master, contemplating the idea. Eventually, they collectively agree to the idea. Wind Master pushes Xie Lian to the gambling table, giving him a small, reassuring wink as Y/n encourages, "You can do this, Lian Lian!!"

Xie Lian holds his breath and picks up the cup and dice.

Y/n's hopeful expression focuses on Xie Lian....

...but soon fades.

I don't think anyone could understand why Xie Lian's best dice-shaking technique was something that resembled some obscure chicken dance.
