A "home" is not a physical place.
It's a place in your heart, of all the people and objects you value most.
That could be outside, on a calm beach, or it could be in the middle of a bustling city,
It could even be both if you desire.
Everyone's home will differ, but all that truly matters is the feeling one gains from their home.
Homes also differ from Houses.
Houses tend to be something that you're born into, but with the House of ■■■■■ you don't have to be born here to be a part of it.
All Houses used to have this, and you could change the House depending on your ideals.
The magic wasn't House based, and was shared equally throughout Kalinai.
This has changed.
"The first is our House motto Kyra. We make sure others have their homes. This is our job as the leaders."
I nod along, pretending to understand what she's telling me, but there are too many big words for my young brain to understand.
She sighs, "You're not understanding this are you? Well, I suppose that's why we ordered those infused earrings for you. To record and to remember."
