Screams, bangs, blood flying, I see and hear this nightmare. The person who holds me whispers something into my ear,
"Take care, little one, look after our only hope." I feel something getting stuffed under my cozy jacket. I hear boxes opening, and I can feel the tiny grains of rice getting in between my toes. "Stay safe, Kyra," they say. I think that they will stay with me, that they won't leave my side. But no, as they see a mysterious figure coming towards them, they quickly close the box and run.
"Where is the child?" An unknown voice booms."Give her to me now, and I will spare your traitorous lives."
"Never!" A woman calls out, presumably the person who was holding me."She is our child, and she deserves more than a life of your torture!"
The other person laughs. "She will be treated like a princess, and no harm will come to her."
"Lies!" screams the woman."She will become a servant to that monstrosity you call progress!"
"As you said, she deserves more than that torture." The other woman, who I deem crazy, said
"No, you don't mean it. No no no, no, no! NOO!"
"I will give you to the count of ten to give me the girl,"
"You know I won't!"
"1!"
"NEVER!"
"2"
"YOU WILL NEVER HAVE OUR CHILD!!!"
"3"
"LEAVE US ALONE!!"
"6"
The first woman scoffs, "So much for your fairness." She pretty much snarls
"8"
"LET YOUR CAUSE DIE!"
"9"
"You will never find her!"
