Sprout smiled at Cosmo as he mixed the brownie batter. They were making Red Velvet brownies for everyone. He mixed the batter until it was smooth, then poured it into a pan Cosmo was holding. Cosmo gently set the pan into the oven, closing it. He then set a timer for 15 minutes, the time it would take for the brownies to bake.
As the timer ticked down, the boys started to clean up their messes. Nothing else to do, after all. As Sprout washed the dishes, Cosmo put them back in their places.
DINGGG!
The brownies were ready! Sprout pulled them out of the oven. He placed the pan onto the stovetop and left it to cool. After about 5 minutes, he sliced the brownies into 22 pieces, one for each Toon.
They called the Toons into the kitchen, handing out brownies. Everyone ate and chatted. Even Shrimpo accepted a brownie, even though he apparently hated everything. The only thing he loved was to hate. Sprout and Cosmo sat down last, at a little table in the corner by themselves.
As Cosmo took a bite of the brownie, he melted a little. The soft, warm, chocolatey snack was so good, that everyone was practically begging for seconds. Even Shrimpo didn't seem...Opposed to it.
"Okay, everyone!" Cosmo started. "We will make more tomorrow, okay?"
Everyone started chattering happily, heading to their rooms. It was late, so Cosmo and Sprout walked to their rooms to get ready for bed.
"Goodnight, Sprout!"
"Night, Cosmo."
As Cosmo lay in bed, he fiddled with his bracelet. He and Sprout had made matching bracelets one day, and they both had worn them ever since. He was happy to be Sprout's boyfriend. They always spent time together, baking crafting, or doing other things. He enjoyed spending time with Sprout the most. They complimented each other extremely well.
As sleep tugged at his eyes, he couldn't help but wonder what he did to deserve Sprout.
Cosmo thought he heard footsteps in the hallway, but it was probably just his imagination.
