She left for her room after that leaving a dumbstruck adhrit behind who later smiled softly in her innocence.....
PRESENT:-
she went to her room and sat on her bed while thinking about the today's incident...but suddenly her chain of thoughts broke by the knock on her door she permitted the person to come inside ... sakshi came inside but her expression suddenly changed from smiling one to concern.... anyone from one look of meher's face can tell she cried for some good amount of time .....sakshi immediately went to meher and asked in a worried tone..
Sakshi -*sitting besides meher* meher what happened....were you crying beta.
Meher flustered listening her she even forgot to wash her face and now she was sure she must be looking like a tomato.
Meher - *not wanting to tell her * nhi bhabhi kuch nhi ...not a big deal.
Sakshi - *helding her hands* you were crying bache and it is a big deal for us.
Meher - it....it's just little embarrassing bhabhi let it be na ....
Sakshi - *hugged her from side* you know meher you can always share your problems with me beta....you are like my daughter now and I will never judge my kid for anything....you don't need to fight alone i know I can never take archana mumma place or your Massi's place but I can make my own place right ...never feel hesitate to tell your bhabhi anything meri jaan .... I know it's too early for this all for you to trust a new person but I promise kiddo I will never fail you .... I can't see you to suffer alone I wanted to say this from so long but we both never got enough time to talk and it's okay if you don't want to tell but please never think about being embarassed ...we are here to protect you , guide you ...no need to hide yourself from us bache .... accept us meher please maybe your father and brothers can't show that but they are trying their best to make a space in your heart ❤️ .... please let them in ...let us in.
Listening her words meher felt a motherly warm in her heart... sakshi understands her without even telling...she covered all of her insecurity points ...she always thought being close to sakshi she is betraying her Massi but no one can take her place sakshi is making her own place in her heart she is not replacing some one.
Meher hugged her back when a tear from her eyes drop on sakshi's lap.
Meher - you know bhabhi maybe I needed this thank you 🩶.
Sakshi - *lovingly rubbed her back* bas beta you will get sick now ...or nahi batana toh koi baat nhi bas itna bta do you are okay right ....you didn't hurt yourself??.
Meher - *smiled at her concerning face* nahi bhabhi I am totally fine it's just adhrit bhaiya punished me so I cried there I am totally fine now ...and feeling so lighter.
Sakshi - *shocked* he ....he didn't go extreme right ...you okay na ...did he went too harsh on you.
Meher - *confused* no bhabhi he was not so harsh but why did you ask like this.
Sakshi - *to herself " because I have seen him giving punishments to his brothers ...he is worst than anyone in this house about this all.
Meher - kuch kha kya aapne bhabhi.
Sakshi - umm...nahi kuch nhi .
Meher - acha wese kuch kaam tha kya bhabhi aapko .
Sakshi - ohh...yesss woh I came here to take you with me if you are free.
Meher - free toh hu bhabhi but kha leke jaana hai aapko mujhe.
Sakshi - actually i am so confused about evening ki konsi jewellery pahnu...and badi mumma gave me 5 dresses which she designed for today and asked me to choose and I am so confused because they all are so beautiful so ...will you please select for me.
Meher - *little shocked* you want me to select your dress .
Sakshi - yess meri jaan now come with me fast fast.
She held meher's hand and took her to her room and asked meher about everything...meher chose her dress , heels, jewellery...and to be honest her taste is so good even in this age even sakshi got satisfy with her choice and seeing her distracted from the earlier incident ...on the other hand meher also feels so happy this little act of sakshi made her feel so important in their life .
Sometimes you don't realise but your little actions can make someone's day or can ruined it too .... that's why always think from other perspective too maybe the thing you thought is not a big deal can be a big deal for some one else .... Apne ghav ko dusre ke dukh se nahi bhara ja skta 🫠.
(Nevermind back to story ....aapki author beech beech mein bhavuk ho jaati hai 🥲).
Later on meher spend her entire afternoon with sakshi and later in around 4 pm all the ladies went to the venue where reception is being held they all will get ready there only... ofcourse they are ladies they need time to get ready all the beautician were already present there ....sakshi made meher to get ready in her vanity room only ....she knows meher don't like to be alone with strangers so to make her feel comfortable she takes meher with her all the time.
All the beauticians started their work but sakshi strictly told meher's beautician to do her minimalistic make-up appropriate for a 14 year old so as per order they did very light makeup of meher and make a very beautiful hairstyle of her and then made her wear her dress .....after some time all the ladies were ready...it was now 7 pm and all the guests started to arrive...shagun took meher with her as sakshi will enter with prakhar ....meher was looking so cute in this dress 👇
