The first day of school was finally here. I gave Ruby and Oliver a ride like I did all last year. It was second nature at this point. Thankfully Ruby kept her teasing looks through my rear view mirror to a minimum as Oliver had stolen the front seat while she sat in the back.

I tried to keep my blushing hidden as I kept sneaking a peak in his direction. He was so hot in the mornings, he barely fixed his bed head and the smell of his cologne was intoxicating.

I was thanking the lord when I finally pulled into a parking spot so that I could get ahold of myself. Oliver said his goodbyes since he had to meet up with the football coach to introduce Luke like he promised. I tilted over the mirror to investigate just how red my face had gotten from the car ride.

"You are hopeless,"Ruby chuckled jumping over the seats to sit next to me,"you didn't say a single thing the entire drive."

"I was nervous!"I whined.

"I don't understand why it is that sometimes you can have a normal snarky conversation with him but the second you are in close proximity like that you can't speak."

"He smells nice,"I muttered, like that was an actual reason to cause my words to fail me, which to me it was.

All I got in response was side eye before she looked back towards the school building,"anyways. You ready to confuse the hell out of some guys?"

"Oh joy,"I said with a groan.

She hopped out of my truck first while I grabbed my school bag from the backseat. We headed inside and I was shifting awkardly against my new clothes. I was wearing boyfriend jeans and a cropped loose fit pink pullover. It felt so odd to wear a cropped shirt, especially to school.

Oliver hadn't made any comments to me in the car about it, granted I was sitting in the driver's seat so maybe he couldn't tell. Not that it mattered, I've never seen him give me a look of 'damn she's hot' and I doubt what I was wearing now would've given the effect.

Ruby dragged me by the hand over to the school entrance. We had already recieved our schedules so we knew where our classes were. My first class was on the opposite side the school from hers and we wouldn't get the chance to see eachother again until lunch. Once we entered the school I glanced around the hallways.

I recognized a few people and a couple of them waved hi as they passed by. A group of football players had formed around one of the walls of lockers. Unfortunately right where mine was. Ruby had already walked off to find hers and I was stuck wading through the pack of boys by myself.

"Excuse me,"I said sheepishly trying to squeezing through the muscled bodies.

"Sorry princess,"one guy snickered.

"She new?"another guy said to another in the least quiet manner.

"No way,"another spoke as finally they began to move out of my way,"too cocky."

Cocky? Dude I was trying to get to my locker,"thank you,"I muttered as I finally made it to the wall and found my locker.

"Nice ass,"I heard one say as I put in my combo.

I whipped my head around to find Ian staring down towards my ass. I fully turned around and stared waiting for him to look up to my actual eyes,"hi Ian."

The look of fear that crossed his face was priceless,"oh fuck,"he muttered under his breath.

"Enjoying the view?"I questioned as I began to turn to survey the rest of the guys.

Now that they were all facing me I started to recognize a few that normally hang out with Oliver a lot. A few of them looked like they had just gotten a death sentence.
