Hey, Life is hard, and it's okay. Autumn might be the season of highs and lows—more specifically lows that never seem to cease. That could ring true for you, and if it does, im sorry. I'm here if you need an ear, okay? Because I'll remind you that Autumn is also a time for chilly morning bike rides and walks caught in the rain. It can be a time for choosing to get up and move your body rather than lay in bed all day. See, there's nothing wrong with resting physically. But where's your mind? Isn't it silly that when we rest physically, our mind is racing. When we move about, our mind is calm. There's clarity with connecting to nature. Autumn is a time for feeling the wet pavement beneath your feet, knowing you might get sick, but that's okay—its all part of the experience. It's finding an abandoned playground and swinging to your hearts content. Autumn is a time for discovering new things in an area you've just moved to. It's baking brownies, and I wish you could share them with your best friend. Are you listening? Life is hard, and that's okay. Find the moments where you can connect to your authentic self again. They're all around you. "Come back now, honey." You can do this. You can be present. You can lead a life worth living. You can do the things you never thought you'd have to, even if it's with tears in your eyes. It gets a little easier when you realize you are your own home. Work with yourself. You'll be okay. You'll be okay. Sweetheart, you'll be okay.
