I was driving back home when my phone kept going off. I looked down to realize it was Kyunn calling. But I hardened my resolve and did not pick up.

I knew what I saw and heard. And after seeing it for myself, there is no way Kyunn could lie her way out of it.

Teresa's anger was finally starting to hit me, and it made me realize how valid it was and how stupid I would have been if I had taken Kyunn back. I got home and was taking my bag from behind when I realized a small paper bag was still on the seat.

I realized it could be Net's. I peeked in and realized his phone was inside with some clothes. Damn. This boy was so careless! I looked at my watch. It was only 9 pm. I decided to go drop it off with Net since it was still early.

I drove back to Net's apartment. Luckily, his security guard called him on the landline and told me to go up. I went to the 15th floor where Net opened his door, very, very apologetic over his carelessness!

"Come in P. I'm so sorry to make you do this unnecessary trip! I was way too careless."

"It's ok, Net. It's still early anyway. I saw your phone in the bag, so I figured you may need it."

"Thank you, P. Please come in. Let me get you a drink."

"It's ok, Net. I will be fine. I am going to make my way back. Just wanted to pass you the phone. Take care, ok?"

Net nodded, smiling and apologising softly as he took the bag from me. Just then, my phone rang again. Yet again. It was Kyunn. I just looked at it but didn't answer, gripping the phone tightly. I looked up at Net with a slightly pained look on my face. He saw me, and his eyes flicked to the phone again, which hadn't stopped ringing.

Then, Net stepped up, taking the phone out of my hand and switching it off! I looked at him stunned.

"At least till you go home, you don't have to deal with this. You got the GPS in your car anyways right?"

I nodded, absent mindedly. He smiled at me, pushing the phone back into my hand and telling me to drive safe. I nodded again, turning to go off when I turned back to him.

"Thank you Net. I really struggle when it comes to her but you made it so easy for me."

"I don't have a past with her P so it's easy for me. But if it's someone close to my heart, I am not sure if I can be as strong. So I totally understand where you are coming from. But that's why Teresa is there for you. Your friends are there for you. I'm here for you. We will protect you."

I nodded and took off, Net's words playing in my head constantly.

"I'm here for you." For some reason, that played on loop the entire night in my head.
