I was busy transferring the photos to my laptop when suddenly there was a power trip! Shit! I quickly stood up and went to fiddle with the main fuse and eventually got everything switched on.

However, I came back only to find that the transfer did not go through successfully. I wasn't too bummed out and decided to try again. But something must have snapped or messed up as I realized my camera's drive was wiped clean!

FUCK FUCK FUCK. Okays now I was freaking out!! I had lost all of the photos from Net's photoshoot! Shit shit shit! I groaned inwardly as I realized I had messed up so badly! I took my phone out, about to call his manager when I realized I had his number too, courtesy of his manager.

Should I just call and tell him what happened? See if he was open to another photoshoot? But with his schedule, I do not know if he could afford the time. I realized I was skating on very thin ice as I called him.

"Net?"

"Yes? Who's this?"

"P Jes here, the photographer..."

"Yes P? How can I help?"

"Uhmmm.... The thing is.." I stuttered inexplicably as I filled him in on what happened. There was a long bout of silence on the other end. I nearly thought he had hung up on me!

Finally, I heard his voice, soft as usual.

"Do we need to do another shoot, P?"

"Uhmm, will it be possible to do so? I know your schedule is full, so we can do it whenever you are available."

"Don't worry about it, P. What's a good time and day for you?"

"Huh?"

"I asked, when is a good time for you? Maybe we can find a common time and do it?"

"Uhm, tell me what's a good time for you Net. It's my fault, I should accommodate you."

"It's ok P. Such things happen at times. Don't let it be a cause for concern. I am actually free on Wednesday from 2pm onwards and on Saturday. Which will be better for you?"

I fell silent, partly because I was stunned as to how calm he was being and also because I quickly checked my schedule. Saturday worked for me better so I opted for that. Net cheerfully agreed and we confirmed on the timing too.

I hung up, grateful he was being so nice about it. I called his manager to fill her in too on what had happened and she told me that as long as Net was ok with it and he was free, we could decide and just inform her on the schedule so she will block it out. I thanked her profusely too and hung up.

I sighed as I looked at my camera's drive, sighing over my bad luck! I had only managed to get one photo of Net on my laptop before everything had crashed. I took a look at his photo and realized he was by far; one of my most photogenic subjects.

Shit, this man was practically smoldering on screen. I didn't realize it then but looking at this one photo, it hit me on how good looking he was!
