_Aashvi's POV_

"Better?" Kabir's deep voice cut through the silence, sending a shiver down my spine.

I nodded, still reeling from his touch. My lips felt tender, branded by his thumb.

Kabir's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "You're hiding something."

My heart skipped a beat. "N-no, Kabir."

His smile was cold, calculated. "Don't lie to me, Aashvi. I can see right through you."

The silence that followed was oppressive, heavy with unspoken threats. I dared not look away, fearing his wrath.

My eyes drifted around the hospital room, seeking escape from Kabir's intensity. The sterile surroundings seemed to fade into insignificance as his presence dominated the space.

Kabir's voice dropped to a whisper. "You're mine now. Remember that."

His words sent a chill down my spine. I felt trapped, caged by his unyielding gaze.

The tension between us crackled like a live wire, ready to electrify the air. I dared not breathe, unsure what Kabir's stoic face concealed. The silence stretched, each passing moment tightening the vice around my heart.

Kabir's sudden movement shattered the stillness. He rose from his chair, fluid and deliberate, and strode to the window. The city lights cast an eerie glow on his profile, accentuating the sharp angles, the hardness in his eyes.

I watched, transfixed by the shadows dancing on his features. My thoughts whirlpooled, searching for clues. Was he plotting something? Did I factor into his plans?

The silence thickened, a suffocating shroud between us. I felt trapped, caged by Kabir's unyielding presence.

Suddenly, he turned, his gaze piercing. "You're thinking too much, Aashvi."

My heart skipped a beat. "What do you want from me, Kabir?"

His smile was a cold, calculated line.
" Your everything."

Kabir's words hung in the air, a chilling command. "Don't think, Aashvi. Obey."

He turned back to the window, dismissing me. I felt a shiver run down my spine as he strode across the room, his footsteps echoing off the walls.

He dropped onto the couch, laptop open, fingers flying across the keyboard. The glow illuminated his face, accentuating the hardness in his eyes.

"Your life is mine now," he muttered, not looking up. "Every breath, every move. Mine."

I felt trapped, caged by his unyielding presence. The silence between us thickened, punctuated only by his keystrokes.

Suddenly, he looked up, piercing me with his gaze. "Don't even think about defiance. I'll crush any resistance."

My heart skipped a beat. "Y-yes, Kabir."

His smile was cold, calculated. "Good. Remember, Aashvi: I own you."

I felt a chill run down my spine as Kabir stood up to leave.

The door swung open, and Doctor  entered, a warm smile on her face. "How's our patient doing today?"

Kabir paused, his eyes narrowing. "She's fine."

Doctor's gaze flicked to Kabir, then back to me. "Let's take a look."

She began her examination, her gentle touch a soothing balm.

"How's your pain level today, Aashvi?"

"Manageable," I whispered.
