Eric tried to find Maya, but she was nowhere to be seen. He decided to hang out with the boys instead and play some basketball. He didn't spend all his free time with the girls. That would just be a reason for people to call him gay, which he wasn't. He would occasionally hang out with them, mostly with Maya around, which is how people assumed they were dating.

Basketball really helped him forget everything that happened in the past few weeks. That was until Aiden showed up on the court. At first, the boys didn't say anything to each other, let alone acknowledge the other person. But it just so happened that they were stuck on the same team. Just his luck.

Things seem to be going well, except for the times when Aiden could have passed the ball to Eric. Unfortunately, Aiden is a petty little bitch, so he refused to pass it to Eric, resulting in them losing more than a few points. Eventually, Eric got pissed off and went to confront Aiden.

"What's your problem? Didn't you see that I was free!" He yelled.

Those that were continuing to play suddenly stopped and went over to drink some water. Anything to seem like they weren't listening. But Eric didn't care. Not anymore, when there was only two weeks until school ended.

"I don't play with cheats," Aiden answered coolly.

"You're one to talk. Didn't you cheat on Rex for YeaYea."

There were a few snickers in the crowd, and a few gays being thrown around. Eric realized that YeaYea was also in the crowd.

"Why don't you go run along and cry to your boyfriend, unless of course, he cheated on you too."

Aiden's face started to turn red. Eric would have laughed at his face, if he wasn't so pissed.

"At least I have someone, unlike you, crying behind your locker because you're so lonely."

It took every ounce of self restraint for Eric to not punch Aiden in the face. Though, his fists were clenched, should the occasion arise.

"I never cried behind my locker, but I'm flattered that you observe me so much. Like the angle, or should I move so that you can see my beautiful face next time?"

A few Oos went through the crowd. Aiden's face got even redder.

"You're hideous to look at. You disgusting gay."

Eric had to laugh at that.

"Funny you're the one calling me gay, considering you dated two guys."

"You also dated Rex." At this point, Eric didn't care if his secret was exposed. He just needed to bring Aiden down.

"Well, I had a girlfriend, unlike you."

More reaction went through the crowd. Honestly, couldn't they leave?

"Who, Melissa? Cause she's with Joe. And Maya is only playing you, you know that."

Eric ignored the part about Maya. Everyone knew she was a player, but Eric doubted she would play him, considering how infatuated she was by him. "I was never with Melissa. And as for Maya, at least she noticed me enough to play me, unlike you."

Aiden laughed off the comment. What does he know that Eric doesn't?

"I'll DM you the details."
