Sun's Pov:
I didn't understand myself. I never did. All these years, I had been trying my best for myself and the school. I finally became the school president after years of trying then why… Why did everyone hate me?
It's unfair. All the previous school presidents were loved by everyone. The previous head prefects were loved by everyone despite being strict then what was I doing wrong? I was just doing my duty.
Why was I so unlucky? Why did people have to question this system and create that hassle when it was finally my turn? My turn to make my parents proud, to make myself proud.
Then how did it turn out like that? How did I end up disappointing everyone? How did I end up so freaking angry with myself?
*Flashback*
“How could you let that happen, Akk?” Teacher Chadok yelled out loud on the rooftop. The rooftop was like their secret hideaway. Whenever teacher Chadok had anything important to talk to Akk about one on one, that's where he'd call to see him.
“I'm sorry, sir,” Replied Akk, his face overflowing with guilt and disappointment in himself as he stared down at the rooftop. He couldn't stop the gangs from protesting because that was their right and he didn't have the right to stop them nor was it his responsibility to do so. But he couldn't argue with that intimidating figure. It just made him feel even worse than he was already feeling.
“You couldn't even gather all their names? What the hell were you doing?” Teacher Chadok yelled again, his voice rising even more, resulting in Akk feeling even worse about himself and getting scared.
Akk stayed silent as teacher Chadok walked closer and pushed his shoulder. “Answer me! What the hell were you doing?” His voice rose even more, pure rage visible in his eyes.
“You haven't learned anything at all after what happened, have you?” Teacher Chadok yelled again, his voice only a bit calmer this time. He looked around the rooftop, his eyes rolling as he sighed. “You better watch out, Akk.”
*End of flashback*
Teacher Chadok. I never understood what he wanted from me. I was the school president. Yes. I was the head of the school prefect. Yes. But did that mean that every single duty of school was on my shoulder?
What about the teachers? The principal? The government? What were they doing? Their responsibility was to just sit there and watch us suffer among ourselves?
I felt worthless. Like everybody was using me and still expecting me to be the so-called perfect person. They expected me to handle everything. They expected me to put everything in my life away.
Which I did. At that point, the one and only priority to me had become the school and its reputation. I was willing to do anything to save the school's face. But the fact was, there wasn't any reputation to be saved. For a school like that, which had banned the student's freedom, that reputation was long gone.
But who says who? Nobody in the school, among the teachers, students, were willing to believe it. According to them, it's the perfect student’s duty to handle that non-existent reputation. And all the things that happened were blamed on me.
At first, I thought only teachers were like that but I was very wrong. It's just that I hadn't realized how biased students were too until that incident.
*Flashback*
Akk came out of his classroom with his prefect friends Kan and Wat. “Where will you go after this?” Akk asked.
“I'm meeting Thua.”
“I have to go to the library to pick up some books for the project.”
“Well then, see ya.”
Akk bid farewell to his friends and was about to pass the hallway until he noticed a guy on his phone. Not being able to ignore, he approached the guy.
The guy stared at him right in the eyes while he was approaching, he didn't seem scared one bit. I mean why would he be scared? No one was scared of Akk anymore. “Hey! Don't you know you're not allowed to use your phone inside the school?” Akk yelled, walking closer.
“But there's no class right now,” The guy replied, looking down at the phone in his hand, trying to text someone.
“You're still inside the school,” Akk replied back.
“So? What are you going to do?” The guy looked up at Akk again, raising his brows in a challenging way. He looked around the hallway. It was full of students.
Akk didn't understand the warning the guy tried to give. Instead, Akk walked even closer and grabbed the guy's hand, snatching the phone away. “Give me my phone back!” The guy yelled so loudly that it started echoing through the hallway.
Not long after, a group of students gathered around and a taller student walked behind Akk, taking the phone from his hand. “Don't you dare take his phone ever again!” The guy beside him shouted.
Akk stood there, shocked and embarrassed. He heard people around him whisper and even say out loud for him to hear.
“Child of nepotism is teaching us about rules.” *Laugh*
“He really thinks he's the real deal, doesn't he?” *Laugh*
“I can't believe I used to respect him.”
“He can't be for real.”
“Is he the school president or the teacher's slave?”
“Does he really think he can just take someone's phone like that just because the teachers told him to check out?”
“He's violating people's rights to their assets.”
Akk stared at them for a moment, not able to avoid listening to everything they were saying about him. He felt tears form up in his eyes as a shadow of guilt took over him, his mind getting filled with blackness. What had he done wrong? Why couldn't people forgive him for that one mistake?
With his tears filled eyes, he noticed two familiar figures looking at him. One looked angry and the other looked… concerned. Teacher Chadok stared at him, clearly mad that Akk wasn't able to handle the situation. While Ayan looked like he could just hug Akk right then if the crowd wasn't blocking him. Tears fell down Akk's eyes as he looked down and ran away, wiping his tears.

A/n: Akk's self esteem had gotten even worse. All the pressure is too much for him to handle so Ayan is the only one who's able to keep his mind in peace. At least, until he lets Ayan in finally
