The morning breeze brushed through the sun to provide bright light to the sky and everywhere. The sunlight was yellow. The heat was yellow and Bangkok was yellow with sunlight again. It's yellow everywhere.

The sun peeked through the sky to look at the city as if a proud parent was looking at their children. What's there to be so proud of about being a burning planet with infinite heat? It's like it's always angry, especially in the city of Bangkok.

The sunlight reflected from the big glass window to in front of Ayan's room, directly onto his eyes. He immediately squinted and started rubbing his eyes. It's so annoying. He always told his parents to close the curtains before going to sleep and yet, they never did.

The light had woken him up and no matter how much he tried, he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep anyways. He got up from his bed and kicked the blanket away in frustration.

Scratching his head with a finger, he searched for his phone on the bedside table. His face unlocked the phone. Aye just stared at the lock screen for a few seconds, still half asleep and not able to process what the time said. The screen finally came into his focus as he yawned, "6:53".

The sunlight always woke him up too soon. His school started at 10. What was he supposed to do with so much time?

After stretching his body on the bed, Ayan slowly got up, making his way to the living room. His room was in the calmest corner of the house yet the brightest. It was a lot.

Ayan could cook but he's usually lazy and rather has his parents cook for him. He slowly walked his way to his parents room, stumbling multiple times on the way.

They had office at 8 but the door to their room was still locked. Did they forget? Ayan sighed and knocked slowly. "Dad, get up! It's 7 already!" He yelled.

After a few more yells, his pa opened the door, his hair messy. He clearly just woke up. It's Kongpob. Arthit, his dad was still getting up from bed.

Ayan didn't quite get their dynamics. His dad, Arthit was older than his pa, Kongpob yet Kong was more responsible. Arthit was just pure lazy. That's why Ayan was always a bit proud of himself for not taking in that quality of Arthit.

He loved both his fathers but if you ask him who he loved more, he'll definitely say Kongpob, sometimes literally but sometimes just to stir Art up. His dad, Arthit, barely expressed any emotions and he didn't quite like that. He wanted him to be more expressive so that Aye wouldn't be scared talking to him.

Kongpob was the total opposite. Intelligent, hardworking, teasy and expressive. It was a miracle for Aye to think about how much time it must have taken for Arthit to agree to date Kongpob.

Kongpob had already told their love story to Ayan but he wouldn't say he was quite amazed. A hard to get senior and a teasy junior. Sounded fun yet boring.

Ayan had taken on most of the qualities of Kongpob over the years since he was obviously more close to him. People even said he looked like him sometimes even though that was nearly impossible.

Ayan was an adopted kid. He grew up in the orphanage, far far away from where he had learnt to live after getting adopted.

It was nice. A happy, gay couple, wanting to raise a child adopted him. Even though they were quite rich, he didn't have the same feel he had at the orphanage. He had to leave his friends whom he had grown up with.

He had felt lonely at first but his dad, Kong, made him feel way better. He helped him gain new friends at school and things were going great yet tiring. Just life.

Time flew. He had been adopted by his parents when he was 9 but he had grown up. He couldn't believe how much time he had already spent with his new parents, new house. He's 17. Almost an adult though he had learnt to be mature, more mature than Arthit apparently.
