Chapter 6

August 24 Netherlands
We had landed just yesterday before the qualifying. The trip wasn't that long and the boys came and pick us up. Lando would have meet us in their hotel cause we didn't want any one to suspect anything. They helped us carry our luggage in the Airbnb, which was only half an hour from the race track and then we went straight to Lando. Lando was really happy seeing me. We've been talking through messages and video calls but nothing compares seeing each other after 1 week. Lando almost through out everybody so we can be alone for a little while. We talked, we hugged and we kissed and then it was time for us to leave cause he needed some rest for tomorrow.
Fast forward to today, all three of us were ready and waiting for the boys to come and pick us up. At the road to the race track we were talking and asking more questions trying to understand the formula 1 rules. The time passes and we've arrived.
"So we are going to let you out and wait a little bit in front of the gate until they let you pass in and then we will come in" Max was saying
"Do you remember girls how to go up to the balcony?" He continued
"Yeah we got it and if we get lost we will just ask I guess" Lydia said
"Yeah you could do that too." Max agreed
"After the quali and if Lando will be into the three first poles he'll probably do an interview and then discuss with the team, you either can wait at the balcony and then call us up, or you can walk with the whole crowd and then call us to meet you were we parked the car" Max continued
"I wanna wait until Lando finishes with everything and then call us when he is ready to leave. But if they ask us what are we still doing up there, then we will call you and tell you that we are heading to the car" I said
"Sounds ok to me" max said "have fun girls at the balcony and I hope one day you get to see it from the garage" he added
And we started walking towards the entrance.
It wasn't that difficult to find the balcony. We sat we chatted and we took lots of pictures. I could see Lando's car get into the race track. I was excited for him but worried at the same time. I didn't want anything to happen to him.
"Pole position for Lando Norris!!" the commentator yelled through the speakers.
I was so happy we were shouting and smiling. I wanted so bad to go and give him a hug but I had to be patient. We were there at the balcony at least half a hour and most of the people were already gone.
"That was fun wasn't it?" Lydia said
"It was something that we've never seen before for sure" I said
"So, I've got an idea" Anna started saying "what if we go down and explore the paddock a little bit, I mean we have our passes none can tell us anything, and you get to see Lando too if we spot him somewhere near McLaren."
"That doesn't sound that bad, we could do that.." I said smiling at both of them.
"Ok then let's go!" Anna said
We went down the balcony's stairs and headed to the garages..by that time the garages were almost full of people not only with the employees and media but with fans too. We passed most of the garages and we've finally found McLaren's. I didn't see Lando anywhere near the car.
"Okay ladies, I don't see Lando here so let's take some pictures and then I'll call Max." I said
While I was talking to them I sense a presence behind me and I instantly turn around to see Lando staring at us smiling.
"Did you like the quali?" He asked
"Shit Lando you scared me! Do not do that ok?" I immediately say to him
"Sorry babe that wasn't my intention" he said "so are you here for pictures?"
"Yeah your girl over here is fangirling and she wanted to come here and see you" Lydia answers
"Thanks Lydia! " as I turn to her and gave her a death stare.
"Oh really? That's nice babe thanks" Lando says and start laughing.
"Oh shut up, I just wanted to see the garage that the guys talked so much about" I said smiling at him.
"Well, I don't have anything to do and I think the boys already headed to the car, start walking towards the exit and I meet you there" Lando said
"Ok, see you in a bit" I said to him
We arrived next to the car and drove at their hotel. We ordered some room service at Lando's room hang a little bit, I kissed Lando goodnight and for good luck for tomorrow and Noah drop us off at our Airbnb.

August 25 RACE DAY
Only few laps left till the race ends. Lando is doing brilliant job! We were watching amazed the race.
Last lap and I have almost bitten all of my bottom lip from my nervousness. Checkered flag and I could see it in slow motion. Lando won the race! I jumped and screamed with my cousins. We were so happy for him. I knew it meant a lot to him. That was his second race that he won. I am so happy and proud of him!
We went with the rest of the crowd down to see the ceremony. We found the rest of the boys and we all celebrated the win together.
The boys sneaked me into the garage and they put me into Lando's cool room as a surprise, they said. After about ten minutes the door opened and here was Lando super tired from the race but still smiling about his win.
"Congratulations! I am so very happy for you babe!" I told while I was hugging him.
I came closer and kissed him and he kissed me back.
"Thank you babe, thank you for coming to see me, it means a lot" he said " I have some post race meetings and interviews still and then I'll be free, go join your cousins and the boys and we will meet later for dinner" he continued.
"Ok yeah, I'll let you cool down and do what you need to do" I said. He placed his hands on my waist and kissed me on the lips and then on my forehead.
"Lando.." I began saying
"Hm?" He looked at me
"You really were amazing today" I said to him. I smiled and left the room to meet the others.
The guys were shouting in the car about the race. They say how phenomenal it was and how we would enjoyed it from the garage. We said to the boys that they can hang out at our Airbnb till Lando is ready to go out.
We chilled a little bit at the house. I've already texted Lando that we are at our place and that if he wants he can join us here and decide all together what we want to do. While we were waiting we saw a little bit of the post race interviews from the racers.
"So Lando" the journalist asked " congratulations once again for your win, I have to ask how are you going to celebrate it?"
"Um, I'm tired so I think I'm gonna go to bed early or just have a dinner with my friends and head to bed." He said and smiled
I was still so happy for him and as I was think of him the door bell rang. Anna went to see and after a few moments Lando was in the living room greeting us all.
"Alright now that Lando is here too I have some places that I can recomment for us to eat. Let's begin with..." Joshua began but Lando stopped him.
"Sorry guys but I have to change the plans. I'm taking my girl out tonight cause she is leaving tomorrow and I want to spend more time with her." He said.
"Thanks mate how very kind of you" max said
"Artemis did you know about this change of plans?" He asked me
"I swear that I didn't know at all" I said
"But that doesn't mean that I don't like his plan" I said smirking
"Lando is right, we're leaving tomorrow and those two haven't spend much time together alone" Anna said
"Go and have fun" Lydia added
"Don't forget to use protection" Noah shouted
Everybody was silent.
"Too soon I guess" he added and the we all start laughing.
"Ok everyone, please behave yourselves and don't ruin the house, we don't have that much money to replace broken things" I said
" I like it when you become strict" Lando said smiling.
"Oh stop it" I said laughing.
We left the house and got into his car.
"So where are we going?" I asked
"Just car riding and if we see a nice view we stop there" he said
"I thought you would be tired after that intense driving for two hours straight." I said to him " I don't want you to be tired" I added
"I am fine Artemis, please I want to spend some time with you, I don't want to talk about today anymore" he said
"Ok, so are you flying straight to Italy?" I asked
"Yes I am leaving tomorrow too" he said
"Ok, how's Italy? I've heard so many nice stories from there and I really want to visit"
"Then come to the race next weekend"
"That's what I've been planning to do" I smiled at him
"Why don't you come with me tomorrow so we can see the places near the race track together?"
" I don't want to leave my cousins to return to Greece alone, but I can close the ticket and come the next day"
"That's sounds good to me"
"But...I don't want to be alone at an Airbnb"
" then you should come to my hotel"
" I can't afford your hotels Lando and you know it"
"You don't have to leave alone or pay for a room cause I want you to stay in my room with me"
"There is no way I am staying with you!"
"Why?"
"We are not even boyfriend and girlfriend Lando and plus it's to soon to be sleeping together in the same room."
" ok, do you want to be my girlfriend Artemis?"
He asked and at that moment I froze and didn't talk until he found a spot and stoped the car.
"Is everything alright babe?"
"Yeah I just...it was out of the blue" I said to him
"we'll I've been wanting to ask you and then you brought it up and I asked"
"Don't you believe is too soon for that?"
"I know what I want, do you know what you want Artemis? You said it yourself you don't want to play any games and I don't also. So do you want us to be together?" He was looking at me and I could see his blue like the waves eyes being very serious at that moment.
"Yes, I want us to be together, but I'm afraid of what is going to happened.."
"Don't be,we will simply don't tell anyone expect our loved ones and we will continue move on with our lives." He said
"Ok I agree, but that doesn't mean now that we are going to be sleeping together mister" I point a finger at him and looked at him seriously. He laughed and then he moved my body and placed me on top of him at the driver's seat where he was seating.
"What are you doing?"l I asked him.
"I am hooking up with my girlfriend" he answered and he took my face with his two hands and placed my lips on to his. The kiss was long and beautiful. I can feel the passion was there and the temperature start raising fast but I didn't wanted to stop. I can feel his hands searching my body,his hands coming up to my waist and then back.
"I think we need to stop, cause we are in a car and things can get uncomfortable" I whispers between the kisses.
"I agree, let's head to my place.."he said and continued kissing me
"I am going to say yes but I have one condition." I said
"What is it?"
"No sex and you'll return me back at the Airbnb" I said
"Ok, but I cannot say what time I'll return you to the Airbnb" he said
I moved to the passenger seat and we headed to his room at the hotel. At the moment we closed the door he started kissing me again. We moved to the bed and hooked up for a long time. At some point I stopped him and recommended to watch a movie at the Tv.
"Fiiine.." Lando said between his teeth.
"Lando we need to calm down or else we will not stop" "I am sorry, believe me I want that to happen too but I strongly believe it's too soon for us. And yes I can feel the physical attraction that we have" I kissed him once more he laughed and he put a movie on Netflix. After 10 minutes we were both fast asleep.
