"Wander much further and I won't be held responsible for your fate. I'll just tell command you abandoned your ambition to return home, once we're back." Levi barked, nearly rolling his eyes.
"I won't go far," You promised, your lips pulling into an impish grin aimed back his way.
"Why not enjoy what little merit there is to our situation?"
"Fucking brat," Levi grumbled, hooking a blade onto his handle.
"Making me follow after you all this way."
"I've never seen the sun set beyond the walls before," You smiled, speaking softly.
"Why don't you admire it with me, Levi?"
