As Carly sat in her room, she scrolled through her contacts slowly. Her parents were away on holiday and the house was empty. She was well and truly alone. "She has her children, she will be with Quinn, shes with Reece, hes with Marj, shes with Winter" just as the girl was slowly losing hope, her thumb hovered above the call button. She took a deep breath before pressing it.

"Carly, what do you want?" The voice in the other end answered coldly. "Please... not now. Can you come over, please. I really need someone." Carly mumbled as she tried her best to choke back a sob. "Carly... what's wrong?" The voice was a lot softer now, filled with panic. Carly could hear the sound of keys, followed by a car starting. "I-i." Carly tried to speak, but nothing came out. "Okay, Im on my way. Give me five minutes." Carly sighed as the line went dead. She took herself downstairs slowly and unlocked the door. By this point, the tears she was fighting back had fallen down her pale cheeks.

Carly took herself into the living room, curling up in a ball on the couch as the tears fell. She was so in her head that she didn't hear the front door open. "Carly!" her friend shouted as she kicked off her shoes. The young girl made her way to the front door. Throwing herself at her friend, sobbing into her shoulder. "Hey, shhh, it's okay." she whispered before picking Carly up and walking to sit on the couch. "Mia, you came?" she asked, almost confused. Mia gently wiped tears from the young girls eyes. "I'm not that mean. Anyway, talk to me, what's wrong?" Carly shook her head. "Mia, i have no one. Everyone has someone, but i don't."

Mia sighed softly and pulled Carly against her chest. "I know that you ramble on to, just like Char. You know about how loved you are. It won't sink in while you are feeling like you are, so we are going on a little road trip. Come on, get your shoes." Mia told her, but Carly shook her head and held onto mia tightly. "I don't want to please. Don't leave me." she sobbed. Mia sighed and wrapped her arms around Carly. Rubbing her back. She messaged Reece to get to Carlys house as quickly as possible.

"Carly, im not going anywhere okay sweetie, i can stay all night if that will help." Mia whispered calmly as Carly just nodded slightly against her chest. A few minutes passed when the front door swung open, and the silence was broken. "MIA! CARLY!" Reece shouted his voice laced with panic. "Shut up, we are in the living room." Mia told him sternly as he practically ran into the room. Stopping as he looked at the pair. Marjorie walked in behind Reece, smiling at how Mia was with Carly. "W-why are you here?" Carly asked, confused. Her eyes were red and puffy, her cheeks tear stained. Marjorie wasted no time in moving to sit next to Mia, rubbing Carlys back. "Hey, kiddo, Mia said you needed us here." Reece told her softly as he perched on the coffee table.

Carly looked at Mia and then back at Reece. She shook her head quickly. "Why would you come? Is it only me? You have Marjorie, you dont need me bothering you." She sobbed, Reece moved closer as Mia pushed Carly from her lap gently. The young girl practically ran onto Reeces open arms, breaking down. "Hey, sweet, it's okay, we are both here. We will always be here for you no matter what." Reece whispered as he moved to sit them both down, never letting her go. "Everyone has someone, but im so alone. Char has her kids and Mia, you have Marj, sorscha has Quinn and Clodagh, and Auts has winter. I only actually rang Mia because i knew Char had the girls this weekend. If not, i wouldn't have bothered anyone." Carly sobbed by this point Marjorie had moved next to Reece, wrapping an arm around Carly. "You call me anytime, im your work, mum, but that doesn't stop the second we are out of the nursery." Carly sighed before yawning. "Come on, you can stay at ours while your parents are away." Reece spoke calmly before gently moving to look at Carly. He wiped her tears before looking at mia. "Thank you." he mouthed, to which she nodded back.

"Carly. You are braver that you think. Char hasnt actually got the girls. It took every inch of my strength to stop her coming to you, so you thought we weren't together. She's been messaging you though just look at your phone." she giggled slightly while passing it over. "Mia, i have 36 messages. Can i call her?" Carly asked quietly, mia nodded, and Carly pressed the green button, putting it on speaker. The phone rang twice before Charlotte answered. "Oh Carly, hey sweetie. Are you okay. Is Mia being nice because i swear if she upset you..." Charlotte rambled. "Char, I'm so sorry. Oh god, if i knew i would have never bothered you both. I promise Mia hasnt upset me at all. Do you want to come over? I mean, Marj and Reece have just got here because Mia rang them." Carly asked quietly. "Carly, I'll be with you as soon as possible. Love you, bye." Charlotte spoke while putting her shoes on in the background. "Love you to bye." Carly replied before hanging up. "Carly, thanks for that. You told her Marj and Reece were here after i forced her not to come. I can feel a telling off coming my way." Mia piped up, giving Carly a look.

With that, the front door slammed shut. "Amelia!" Charlotte shouted as she entered the house. Walking in and finding everyone. She shot her girlfriend a look before rushing to Carly, hugging her tightly. "I'm here, I've got you." Charlotte whispered while playing with the young girls hair, Carly relaxing in her arms. "I would've been here sooner. Oh, it's okay, sweetheart." Charlotte whispered before gently taking out Carlys tight ponytail, playing with her hair gently.

She soon turned her attention back to Mia. "Why, you made me stay home while I knew she was struggling. How mean do you have to be!" Charlotte snapped at Mia as they stood outside the room. "If you came over, she would feel guilty for disturbing our together time. She wouldn't even call Marjorie because she was with Reece! You know how close they are. This isn't about you." Mia told her sternly. Charlotte sighed. "I'm sorry, Mia." she whispered before walking back to find Carly. Wrapping her arms around her tightly. "I can't believe that you guys are here for me." she mumbled as Marjorie stood up and wrapped her arms around the both of them, followed by Reece. Mia stood and watched them all. Reece shot her a look. She rolled her eyes before joining everyone.

"Right, it's time we all got some sleep. Carly, you are coming back with us. So pack a bag. Mia and Char, go home and rest." Reece told everyone. Everyone slowly nodded. Marjorie went upstairs with Carly as Reece waved off Mia and Charlotte.

As they walked in through their front door, Carly wrapped her arms tightly around Marjorie. "Thank you, mum," she whispered before moving away again and hugging Reece tightly. "Thank you, dad." She mumbled nervously. "We love you, bo matter what you are, safe with us."
