"So i guess that just because you have his initial around your neck, you think you own him, and he can't think for himself or have his opinion. I mean you are really controlling and a right bitch. You would probably squash him if he even tried." The multi-coloured hair parent ranted at Marjorie before slamming her office door on the way out.

Marjorie took a deep breath before reaching round the back of her neck, unclipping her necklace and throwing across the room. Of course, she loved Reece with her whole heart, and that wouldn't change. Just in that moment of time, we had to do something. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks. Why can't people just be happy for her?

Just as the necklace left her hand reece walked into her office, the necklace landing at his feet. He looked down before picking it up. "Marjorie?" He questioned before looking up at her. His expression softened as he noticed the love of his life's face tear stained. He walked over to her desk, placing the necklace down before taking hold of her hands.

"Im guessing you weren't meant to throw that at me, were you?" He whispered playfully, but as he watched his wife's breathing get heavier and heavier, he soon learnt that it wasn't the time for his jokes. He carefully lifted Marjorie up from her office seat before moving to sit her on his lap. "D-dont i-im to heavy," she sobbed as she tried to get off of his lap. Reece carefully held her closer so she couldn't get up. "You are in no way too heavy. Calm down and have cuddles, baby, then when you are ready, you can talk to me." He hushed while tracing lazy circles on her back.

Thanks to Reece, it didn't take long for Marjorie to calm down. "It's okay, my baby," he whispered softly before kissing the top of her head. "C-can you n-not let me g-go?" She asked as small hiccups left her mouth. "Im not going anywhere without you." He whispered before trying to move slightly to reach the box of tissues. "Am i too heavy and hurting you?" She questioned anxiously. "Ask that one more time, and i will have to personally squash you. I promise you aren't heavy, so get it out of your head, darling. I was getting you a tissue before you got snot on my jumper." He joked, earning a small giggle from Marjorie.

"So, you going to tell me what this is all about, or do i need to get the guard dog in to have words with you?" Reece asked, and Marjorie shrugged her shoulders. "Well, i mean the parent was load enough. She probably heard it anyway." Marjorie mumbled. Reece rolled his eyes before standing up with Marjorie and walking over to the wall, the one that connects hers and Autumns. Reece knocked on the wall and number of times before sitting back down with Marjorie on his lap.

A few moments passed before Autumn walked into the office. Straight away, she noticed the necklace on the desk and the tear stains down Marjories cheeks. She shut the door behind her before locking it and shutting all the blinds. "Come here." She told her in her normal cold tone. Marjorie slowly walked over to Autumn, keeping her head down. "Turn around," she told her, keeping the same blunt tone. A couple of tears rolled down the managers cheeks. Autumn moved slightly, picking up the necklace and carefully putting it back on her friend. "No turn around and come here." Autumn told her again, but this time a little bit softer.

Marjorie instantly fell into Autumns embrace. "I thought you were going to shout at me for disturbing you from your work." Marjorie mumbled. Reece watched his sister and his wife with a smile on his face. Autumn glaced over at him and gave him a suttle nod. "Thanks, Auts. What happened?" He mouthed to her. "Do you want me to tell Reece what happened?" She asked quietly as Marjorie nodded against her chest.

Autumn held Marjorie close as she explained to Reece what she could hear from her office. "She also said i would squash him." Marjorie mumbled nervously. Autumn moved away slowly from Marjorie. "We are taking her child out of the nursery, i dont care what anyone has to say about it." Reece told them both, Autumn nodded in agreement. "I will send her an email when I go back to my office." She told them both.

Marjorie stood in her office with the siblings quietly. "I just dont want to deal with any more parents today, so when you both leave, i will be locking the door and getting on with paperwork. I need to help Charlotte with her reports, so i will probably call her in, and we will sit in here for the rest of the day." Marjorie told them both. "Reece, if you could get Charlotte, please and Auts, if you could send that email, that would be great." Marjorie told them both confidently. "Come here, you idiot." Autumn whispered before pulling Marjorie against her chest again. "Stop pushing everyone away to isolate yourself. I will be getting my laptop and coming to sit in here for the rest of the afternoon. I know Charlotte has finished her reports because Mia was talking to me when she was filling them last night after work as we were both on the late shift." Autumn whispered, making Marjorie sigh before moving slightly to listen to her heart beating. "Reece, could you just grab my laptop, please?" She asked him while rubbing Marjories back.

Reece didn't take long, him soon walking back into the office. "Reece," Marjorie mumbled nervously while making grabby hands at him. He chuckled slightly at her. "I will sit back on your chair, and you can sit with me." He told her softly. "Just remember, im here too." Autumn scolded playfully as Marjorie sat back on Reeces lap, cuddling into his chest.

Only a couple of minutes had passed when Autumn nudged reeces arm. "Big bother, she's asleep." She whispered with a smile on her face. "Auts, im proud of you. You really know how to calm her down. Thank you," He whispered back, placing his hand on his little sisters shoulder. "Take her home, reece. Her shift will be over soon anyway. I can sort everything out here. Get her home, and i will pop over after work."

Reece had taken Marjorie home and tucked her into bed. Thankfully, she was still asleep. He changed out of his jeans before climbing into bed next to her. Holding her closely as the sound of soft snores filled the room.
