Tripura was woken up by the sharp ring of her phone echoing through the quiet of her hotel room. Groaning, she fumbled for it, squinting to see who was calling her at this hour. It was Palash.

She picked up, and in a sleepy, muffled tone, murmured, "Hello...?"

Palash's laughter sounded bright and teasing on the other end. "Lazy bones! It's already 12! You do remember you've got the site visit in an hour, right?"

Tripura groaned again, feeling the weight of her exhaustion sink in. "Palash, you handle it today. I'm not coming... I barely slept, I'm exhausted," she muttered, almost dozing off again as she spoke.

"Oh, come on, princess, how much will you sleep?" Palash's voice was still lighthearted, but there was a bit of concern woven into his words. "It's not like you to skip out on work. What happened?"

Tripura sighed, her eyes fluttering open a bit more as she settled back into the pillows. "Where do I even begin..." she said, rubbing her forehead. "Last night was... something else."

"Go on, I'm listening."

She took a deep breath, then started recounting the events from the previous night. "So... after the dinner, I came back to my hotel. I was ready to just unwind and sleep, but then Vikram showed up at my hotel in the middle of the night, looking really shaken."

Palash's tone softened, "Shaken? Why? Did something happen?"

She nodded, though he couldn't see it, and continued, "Turns out, Mr. Kapoor had been drinking heavily, and he... he just went missing. Vikram was a mess, thinking something had happened to him. And, honestly, even I got scared. So we drove all over, looking for him. Finally, we found him... on Juhu Beach, just sitting there in this... broken state. It was heartbreaking, Palash." She swallowed, the memory still heavy.

"Heartbreaking? What do you mean?" Palash asked, his curiosity and worry evident.

"He was... well, he was intoxicated, but it was more than that," she explained, choosing her words carefully. "He just... broke down in front of me. He poured out everything he's been bottling up, all the pain he's been carrying. It was like... for a moment, he wasn't the Ram Kapoor, this guarded, distant person I married, but just a broken man trying to make sense of his own feelings. He's got so much he's dealing with... it's like he's fighting his own emotions and doesn't even understand why."

Palash took a quiet breath, as if weighing her words. "Sounds intense, Tripura. So... what now? What do you plan to do?"

Tripura was silent for a moment, reflecting on everything.

Tripura smiled, her spirits lifted slightly as she replied, "I know what I have to do... but I need your help, Palash! Will you help me with this?"

"Of course, my princess, anything for you," he said without missing a beat, then added, chuckling, "but... I need something in return."

She laughed, the warmth of his friendship soothing her. "Oh really? And what would that be?"

Pretending to think deeply, he teased, "Ahhh... maybe a tight hug and that big smile of yours. Haven't seen that in a while!"

Tripura blushed, rolling her eyes though he couldn't see. "Palash! You do remember you have a boyfriend, don't you?"

"So what?" he quipped back, laughing. "That doesn't stop me from flirting with my princess, now does it?"

She felt her cheeks flush even more, shaking her head with a smile. "You're impossible!"

"Yeah, yeah," he replied, laughing along with her. "Alright, enough chatting - get up, get yourself ready, and come over soon. I'll be waiting!"
