After a hearty breakfast filled with laughter, love, and playful banter, the youngsters decided to liven up the day even more by playing games.
The energy in the room was infectious as everyone eagerly gathered in the lively courtyard, ready for some light - hearted competition and fun.
The badminton court was set, and the teams were divided.
Ram and Tripura found themselves on opposing sides, their competitive spirits instantly ignited.
Tripura adjusted her saree slightly, tying it securely for mobility, while Ram gave her a playful smirk. “Ready to lose, Mrs. Kapoor?” he teased.
Tripura raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Let’s see, Mr. Kapoor. Don’t underestimate me just yet.”
The game began, and it was nothing short of thrilling. Ram’s team played with power and precision, but Tripura’s team countered with strategy and agility.
Tripura surprised everyone with her quick reflexes and perfect smashes, earning cheers from her teammates.
Ram, on the other hand, used every opportunity to show off his athleticism, making dramatic dives to return the shuttlecock.
At one point, Ram smashed the shuttle hard toward Tripura, only for her to return it with an equally powerful stroke, sending it straight past him. She grinned triumphantly, while Ram stood momentarily stunned.
“Not bad, Mrs. Kapoor,” he said with a grin, clapping slowly. “But the game’s not over yet.”
It was a close match, but in the end, Tripura’s team emerged victorious. They cheered and teased Ram, who pretended to sulk but secretly enjoyed seeing Tripura’s radiant happiness.
After a short break filled with refreshments and banter, the group decided to play "Dog and the Bone." The competitive energy reignited, and the youngsters split into two teams once again.
The game progressed with high energy and laughter, each player pulling off tricks and antics to outwit their opponent.
Finally, it came down to the last round, which would decide the winning team — and the players were none other than Ram and Tripura.
The crowd erupted in excitement, cheering for their respective champions. Tripura stepped forward with determination, while Ram smirked, ready to outwit her.
As they crouched down, circling the bone in the center, the atmosphere grew tense. Ram feigned a grab, but Tripura was quick to react, moving just out of his reach.
She mirrored his tactics, teasing him with quick movements. Both were equally matched, and it seemed like a stalemate.
That’s when Tripura’s mind sparked with an idea. She straightened slightly, her expression softening into something entirely unexpected — an affectionate, almost dreamy look.
Ram, caught off guard, faltered for a second. “What are you doing, Tripura?” he asked, his voice low and cautious.
She moved a step closer, tilting her head slightly as if entranced. Her eyes locked onto his, and in a voice only he could hear, she began, “Mr. Kapoor, I… I…”
Her lips curved into a soft smile, and she bit her lower lip ever so gently. Ram’s heart skipped a beat, his guard completely down. Was she about to confess something? His mind raced, his eyes slightly widening, and his lips parted, ready to respond to… whatever this was.
