Another usual morning, the golden rays of the morning sun filtered through the large glass windows of Tripura's cabin. Her office was tastefully decorated - minimalistic yet warm, reflecting her composed personality.
The faint sound of keyboards clicking and distant murmurs of patients filled the air as Tripura sat at her desk, engrossed in analyzing a patient file.
Her hair was tied in a loose bun, and she wore a soft lavender saree paired with subtle makeup.
Just as she was flipping through the documents, her phone buzzed beside her. The screen lit up with the caller ID: Palash. A smile immediately graced her lips as she picked up the call.
Tripura: (grinning) "What's up, handsome? Missing me after soo long?"
Palash: (in an overly dramatic voice) "Oh my darling Tripura, where are you? I need you! Drop everything and fly to Mumbai right now!"
Tripura: (chuckling) "Whoa, slow down, Romeo. What happened? Did something go wrong with the project?"
Palash: (excitedly) "No, no! Everything is absolutely fine with the project. But there's more! Guess what? I told Dad about Aditya and me... and... he accepted us, Tripura! He accepted us with open arms!"
Tripura froze for a moment, her smile widening as she processed the words. Her eyes gleamed with pure happiness.
Tripura: (excitedly) "Palash! Oh my God! Are you serious? This is amazing! I'm so, so happy for you and Aditya! Uncle is such a gem, honestly."
Palash: (teasingly) "I know, right? He's cooler than I thought. But listen, we need you here. The project needs your final touch, and honestly, I miss you. You're coming, and that's final!"
Tripura: (smiling) "Palash, of course, I'll come. But let me check my schedule-"
Palash: (interrupting) "No checking, no excuses. You're coming here in two days.
That's an order, Dr. Tripura Nagrajan!"Tripura laughed lightly, shaking her head at her friend's persistence.
Tripura: "Fine, fine, I'll be there in two days. Happy now, Mr. Bossy?"
Palash: (cheerfully) "Very! Now, I'll see you soon. Love you, darling!"
Tripura: "Love you too, Palash. Give Aditya my love as well. See you soon!"
The call ended, and Tripura placed her phone back on the table. A heartfelt smile lingered on her face as she leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes briefly.
Tripura: (softly, to herself) "Thank you, God... for giving Palash the happiness he deserves."
With renewed energy, she straightened up, picked up her pen, and resumed her work. But the faint smile on her face remained - a sign of her genuine happiness for her friend.
--------------
The bustling Mumbai airport was filled with the sounds of announcements, luggage wheels rolling, and people greeting their loved ones.
Among the crowd, Tripura stepped out of the arrival terminal, wearing an effortlessly stylish beige jumpsuit paired with oversized sunglasses. She looked around briefly before a familiar voice echoed through the crowd.
Palash: (excitedly waving) "TRIPUUU!"
Before she could even react, Palash sprinted towards her and engulfed her in a bear hug, lifting her slightly off the ground.
