The next day, Kapoor haveli buzzed with excitement as the evening set in. Fairy lights adorned the garden, and the cool breeze carried the faint aroma of flowers.
After a long day of wedding preparations, the cousins decided to relax and have some fun.
The living room was transformed into a playful chaos - cushions scattered on the floor, snacks piled high on the center table, and everyone sat cross - legged in a big circle.
Tripura sat beside Ram, leaning slightly against him, her shoulder brushing against his arm. Ram, in turn, was lounging comfortably, his arm resting behind her on the couch.
"Okay, guys!" one of the cousins, Aryan, announced loudly. "We're playing Truth or Dare! And no backing out, got it?"
A chorus of cheers and laughter followed.
-----------
The room was charged with excitement as the bottle spun for the first time, its glassy surface glinting under the warm lights.
Everyone leaned in, their eyes glued to its swirling motion, anticipation crackling in the air. When it finally came to a stop, pointing at Rishi, the youngest cousin, a collective cheer erupted.
"Alright, Rishi! Truth or dare?" teased Gaurav, the unofficial host of the evening.
Rishi gulped dramatically, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh... dare," he mumbled.
"Big mistake!" Gaurav exclaimed with a mischievous grin. "Dance like a chicken, right here, right now!"
The room burst into laughter, and Rishi's cheeks turned bright red. "Come on, guys, seriously?"
"Rules are rules!" Ram chimed in, trying to suppress his giggles.
Reluctantly, Rishi got up and shuffled to the center of the circle. The crew clapped in rhythm as Aman hummed the iconic "Chicken Dance" tune.
Rishi flapped his arms, bobbed his head like a chicken, and even added an exaggerated wiggle for flair.
By the end of his "performance," everyone was doubled over with laughter. Ram wiped tears from his eyes. "That's definitely going on my Insta story!"
"No! Delete it!" Rishi begged, diving toward his phone as he quickly held it out of reach.
-------------
The bottle spun again, this time landing on a shy cousin, Riya.
"Truth or dare?" Rishi asked, raising an eyebrow.
Riya hesitated. "Truth."
"Safe choice," Gaurav teased. "Alright, spill - who was your college crush?"
Riya groaned, hiding her face in her hands. "This is so embarrassing!"
"Spit it out!" the group chanted.
After much coaxing, Riya finally confessed, "Okay, fine! It was Arjun Sharma. Happy now?"
The room erupted in teasing whistles and cheers. "Arjun Sharma? The guy with the guitar?" Rishi asked, grinning.
"Yes! But don't remind me!" Piya said, burying her face again.
Ram leaned over, patting Riya's shoulder. "Don't worry, we all have our cringe - worthy crushes!"
------------
The next spin landed on Rishabh, who smirked confidently.
"Truth or dare?" Ram asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Dare, of course," Rishabh replied with his trademark charm.
"Alright, Romeo," Gaurav said. "You have to serenade someone with the cheesiest romantic song you can think of... on one knee!"
