Days passed, and it became increasingly rare to see Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung at school. Sometimes they'd take half-day leave, and other times, they wouldn't show up at all. You knew they were working hard, dedicating themselves to their training and the opportunity they'd earned. But with each passing day, your worry for them grew. It wasn't just about their physical health or the toll their schedules might be taking on them. You were also concerned about their mental well-being. With everything they had on their plates—school, the pressure of their debut, and the weight of being in their final year of high school—it felt like so much for them to juggle. Grade 12 was already a turning point in their lives, and now, with everything else, it seemed like the stakes were even higher

The school day had just ended, and you were walking toward the exit, your thoughts still lingering on the moments you had spent in class.  As you stepped outside, you caught sight of familiar faces across the street – Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung were waiting for their bus to the training center.

You stopped in your tracks for a moment, watching them. It made you feel a mixture of pride and a little sadness. You knew the pressure they were under, the kind of exhaustion that came with balancing school, training, and the looming pressure of their debut. Your gaze lingered on Jungkook for a beat longer than you intended, a lump forming in your throat as you thought of everything he was giving up for this dream.

You looked down at the bottle in your hand – the familiar banana milk. It had become something of a symbol between you two, a small gesture that carried more meaning than words could express. Your heart picked up its pace. Maybe it was the way Jungkook looked at you sometimes, like he was waiting for something, or maybe it was the awkwardness that had settled between you ever since that night.

Your gaze shifted back to Jimin, who seemed to catch your eye. With a small, knowing smile, you signaled for him to come over. You could tell he already knew what was going on, and that made the nervous flutter in your chest both better and worse at the same time. He walked toward you. You tried to gather your thoughts, but your heart was beating faster now.

Jimin – Hey, what's up?

You smiled slightly, feeling a bit nervous but not wanting to show it.

Y/n – Nothing much... Can you do me a favor?

His eyes lit up instantly, that familiar mischievous grin spreading across his face.

Jimin – Anything for you. What is it?

You hesitated, trying to steady yourself. Finally, you extended bottle toward him. The look on Jimin's face softened for a second before his hand reached out to take it.

Jimin – What's this?

You paused, suddenly feeling very small under his gaze. But then you forced yourself to speak, to give him an answer that would make sense.

Y/n – It's... banana milk for... Jungkook.

Jimin blinked, and for the briefest second, you saw a flicker of something in his eyes – surprise, maybe? His smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly masked it, replacing it with the same warm expression he always wore.

Jimin – Wow.

The simple response felt heavier than it should. You tried to mask your own feelings, and watched as he took the bottle in his hand.

It was such a small gesture, but it felt monumental, like you were passing off a piece of your heart and hoping it would reach the right person.

Y/n – Can you give it to him?

Jimin nodded, though his smile seemed to hold a deeper meaning now.

Jimin – Sure, I will.

You let out a breath you hadn't realized you were holding, feeling an odd sense of relief. You didn't have the courage to face him directly—not like this, not after everything that had happened.
