Keiko stared at her lap as people spoke in front of her hospital bed, her brother beside her staring at her with a frown, she had been completely silent since the incident that previous night. The poor girl seemed traumatized, rightfully though, "What will happen now?" Their Father spoke to a police officer who sighed.

"Unfortunately, we have to take you to the cell until this whole thing is figured out. Sure, you weren't the cause of the abuse she's indured all these years, but you knew, everything. And did nothing, so, in a way you can still be punished with being included," The police man calmly spoke, Mirio's head shot up in shock and he stood up in anger.

"He didn't do anything! That's not fair, Officer!"

"Mirio, don't. It is, he's right. I didn't do anything, and I knew about everything, about all of the lies, and the abuse, and... so much more you two have yet to find out," He calmly said, Keiko slightly looked up at the last part.

"But Dad... we need you," Mirio mumbled, his father nodded, "I know. You're fixed to be staying with the Amajiki's, as for Keiko, I'm not allowed to choose where she goes. You two might be seperated," Keiko forced her eyes down again, hiding her tiny tears as her Dad spoke with honesty.

"Then where does my little sister go?!" He turned to the officer, eyebrows narrowed. That was his worst fear, losing his little sister.

"Most likely a orphanage or a foster home until this is figured out, then there will a forever arrangement based on what the Judge say's," The Officer explains, turning to their Father and nodding.

He sighed and turned to Mirio, patting his shoulder, "Stay strong Mirio, for me and Kei."

He went to Keiko who was still staring down at her lap, he hugged her, and she lent her head on his shoulder, "I love you two so much, never forget that. This will all be figured out."

He then let the Officer cuff him up and take him out. Mirio turned to Keiko and softly hugged her, laying down and taking her with him into a cuddle, they stayed like that forever.

"I don't want to leave you..." She finally muttered, he gritted his teeth, "I know, Kei. I know..."

He tightened his hold, "Hopefully... It won't be for long, and if you ever need me, I'll give you one of my hoodie's to comfort you before we have to be seperated, okay?"

She nodded into his chest. And he did keep his promise, once they gathered things they'd need, Mirio gave her some hoodies he knew she'd want to keep. They hugged one last time before she left with the police. She would end up spending the night in an orphanage.

Until... A certain hero came to take her in after being informed of the incident from that night.

"U-Uhm, Sir Nighteye?! What are you doing here at the orphanage?" The receptionist asked in shock, he adjusted his glasses as he responded, "I hear there's a girl named Keiko Togata here, I'd like to foster her."

"Oh uhm, yes sir, I'll be right back!" She left and came back with papers and a pen, "Sign these and then I'll grab her."

He grabbed the papers and pen, going over the documents, the receptionist spoke as he did, "Poor thing, came in with nothing but three hoodies that were nowhere near her size. I asked her why she had them but she didn't even respond."

Nighteye figured the hoodies were Mirio's, that made sense to him.

He handed her the papers and she went to go grab Keiko after checking them over.

She opened the door to the dark room and saw Keiko sitting on the bed with her knees to her chest, head hidden by the hoodie she was wearing, and hair down.

"Togata, you have a foster, time to go sweeite," She softly spoke to the girl, in which got up, grabbed the other two hoodies and slipped on her shoes, turning to the woman who nervously smiled.

She led Keiko through the halls, the hoodie keeping her face hidden. She kept the hoodies hugged close to her chest, they then arrived in the lobby. Keiko kept her head down, she heard footsteps approach her. She glanced and stared at the fancy shoes that stopped in front of her.

"I'm not sure if Mirio's told you about me, but I'm Sir Nighteye, you may call me Mirai," A voice spoke, she lightly gasped before looking up. Or at least trying, the hood was too big so her hand had to raise it in order to get a glance at the Hero.

She nodded, "Yes, Mirio's told me about you... He has interns and work studies with you, since his first year... right...?"

He smiled lightly, "That's right, good memory. Ready to go?"

She nodded again and turned to the receptionist before bowing, "Bye..." She muttered, "Thank you..."

"For what?" The receptionist smiled with a chuckle, Keiko shrugged, peaking at her through the hood.

Nighteye chuckled and patted her shoulder, leading her to his car. Once they were on the road Nighteye started to talk to her, trying to get her to open up, "So, those hoodies must be Mirio's, just curious, why are those the only things you have with you?"

It took her a while to respond, but she did, "As kids... we shared a room, and we'd snuggle when one of us couldn't sleep, it was normal. Even after we got a bigger house, and our own rooms, we still came to each other... and with us being seperated, Miri let me have some of his hoodies so I could sleep just a bit better without him..."

Nighteye nodded, "I can see that, how have you handled being away from him?"

"I miss him so much..." She admitted, bringing her knee's to her chest as she spoke.

"You'll see him again, I promise," Nighteye said, making a turn.

"How long will this whole mess last...?" She asked, looking up at him for the first time in a while.

"I wish I knew, but I can't tell you anything, it depends on what the Judge decides. Which he is currently doing," He informed her, she hummed, "Thank you," She mumbled before looking back out the window.

He smiled to himself, right then he knew this was going to be a pleasant experience.
