(Mention of drinking, partying and other sexual activity)

The music filled my ears, as well as people's conversations as I made my way through the crowd, trying to find the Ducks.
As I made my way back to where we were all sitting, in a quieter corner of the party, Luis was the only one there.
"Where'd everybody go?" I asked, taking a sip of my new drink as I sat down beside him.
"Well all of the couples went off in search of bedrooms I assume and the others wanted to find the dog again." Luis explained, whispering in my ear.
It sent tingles all throughout my body, and there's no way that Luis was oblivious to what it did.
"What's in your cup?" Luis asked after a brief silence, to which I looked down and tried to remember.
"I uh, can't remember, some sort of mix that Connie showed me once." I explained, putting my empty hand on his leg to gain balance as I turned to talk to him.
I felt him slightly tense at my touch, but didn't think too hard about it.
"How many have you had y/n?" He asked, and I thought for a moment.
"Five? Six? I lost count after two." I giggled, and fell against him.
When I finally came back up, I looked at him, and the liquid courage kicked in.
I leaned in, closing the distance between or lips until they touched. At first, he didn't seem into it, so I moved back and cleared my throat.
"I'm gonna go." I said quickly and got up, walking through the crowd.
I heard my name being called, but I didn't stop.
I got to a hallway before he finally caught up to me. He grabbed my arms, causing my drink to fall to the floor. I was backed up against one of the walls, and he looked at me.
At first, it looked like he was searching for something. But it wasn't long before he kissed me, hard. We stood in that hallway, making out as people passed by.
It was a common occurrence at parties, but never had I thought that I would partake in it.
It wasn't until Connie cleared her throat that we were brought out of the trance.
"Come on, we need to get back to the dorms y/n."
I was pulled away from Luis, and when I turned to look back at him, he had vanished.
I had spent all day Sunday studying and working on homework that I hadn't thought about what happened the past night, but when I got to school on Monday, I was reminded of what I had done.
Every time I tried to talk to Luis, he found some excuse to be busy and unavailable. It was at least Thursday before I could get within talking distance of him without him scurrying off.
"Come on Luis we need to talk." I stated, as he walked by me and Connie, trying not to make eye contact.
Finally, I had enough. I walked after him, grabbing him and pushing him into the stairwell.
"What is up with you Luis!" I exclaimed, looking at him. "Why are you dodging me?"
Luis didn't speak up, and I scoffed.
"Fuck Luis, if I had have known you'd act like this I never would have kissed you." I threw my hands up in defense, and walked past him and down the stairs.
"I just-" Luis started but cut himself off. I turned to look at him.
"You just what! Come on Luis, speak your feelings."
"I just, look. I wanted to kiss you, but I didn't want you to be drunk when I did it." Luis explained, and I crossed my arms. "I wanted us to both be sober when we kissed for the first time."
"I'm not following, you wanted to kiss me the other night but didn't want to because I was drunk?"
"God are you really that oblivious?" Luis said, and he came down the stairs fast, bringing his hands up to cup my face, and kissed me again.
After he pulled away, I knew I looked dumbfounded.
"I just thought that everything I was feeling was just in my head." I whispered.
"No, I was trying to be subtle but I guess I was being too subtle." He laughed, which made me smile.
The bell rang, signalling class had started. We both looked at each other, contemplating.
We both said screw it, and started to kiss again, him backing me against the wall. Skipping in class wouldn't hurt, and this time, we had no liquid courage to get it started.
