Jungkook was so close, so close to the edge, that he could hardly stand the wait. But he was determined to hold on, to wait for the permission he so desperately craved. He needed to please Jin, to show him how much he wanted this, how much he desired him.
"Please... please let me come. Please. I need you. I need you so badly. I can't take it anymore. I need to feel you, to have you, to take you. Please...please
"Jungkook..wake up !? Jin voice
Jungkook's eyes flew open, his breathing heavy and his body still trembling. His heart pounded wildly in his chest, the vivid sensations of the dream lingering as he tried to reorient himself. Jin's concerned face hovered above him, eyes wide with worry, as Jungkook struggled to gather his thoughts.
"It... It was just a dream," Jungkook mumbled, his voice hoarse and barely above a whisper. His face flushed crimson, mortified by the intensity of the dream that had pulled him so completely under. He sat up abruptly, avoiding Jin's gaze, desperately trying to steady his breath.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Jin asked, his hand hesitating before gently resting on Jungkook's shoulder. The touch sent a shiver down Jungkook's spine, a lingering echo of the feelings he had been overwhelmed with just moments before. He could still feel the ache, the desperate need that had consumed him, and he willed himself to calm down, to shake off the remnants of the dream.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," Jungkook lied, forcing a smile that he hoped would hide his embarrassment. "Just... just a overthink dream."
Jin's brows furrowed, clearly unconvinced, but he nodded slowly. "Over think dream-- uhmm--Okay... if you say so. But you looked really shaken up." Jin paused, a small, hesitant smile forming on his lips. "If you need to talk about it, you know I'm here, right?" Jin added said
Jungkook nodded quickly, his eyes darting to the side, unable to hold Jin's gaze. He forced a laugh, though it sounded strained even to his own ears. "Yeah, yeah. Thanks Jin--. I... I just need to get some fresh air. It was... intense."
Jin's expression softened, and he gave Jungkook's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Alright. Take your time."
As Jin left the room, Jungkook let out a shaky breath, burying his face in his hands. His dream had felt so real-too real. And now, with Jin's concerned face fresh in his mind, the line between fantasy and reality felt blurred, leaving him more confused than ever.
•••••••
Jin and Jungkook were alone in their shared apartment, the silence between them charged with an unspoken desire. They were already together, but the yearning to take their relationship to a deeper, more intimate level hung heavily in the air. Yet, both resisted, denying the temptation that threatened to consume them.
Jin's breath hitched as his gaze locked onto Jungkook's, the heat between them undeniable. Jungkook's fingers twitched, aching to pull Jin closer, but he clenched his fists at his sides, determined to hold back. A flicker of frustration crossed Jin's eyes before he tore himself away, forcing himself to leave the room.
As the door clicked shut, Jungkook let out a shaky breath he hadn't realized he was holding. He sank onto the edge of the bed, burying his face in his hands. The dreams he'd been having about Jin had felt so real-so incredibly real-that waking up to this tense reality made his head spin. Now, with the image of Jin's concerned, almost hurt face fresh in his mind, the line between fantasy and reality seemed hopelessly blurred, leaving him more lost and desperate than ever.
In the solitude of the room, Jungkook whispered to himself, "Why do I keep holding back?" His heart pounded in his chest, and he could still feel the warmth of Jin's lingering presence.
Minutes ticked by, but Jungkook remained motionless, his face still buried in his hands. His mind was a whirlwind of emotions-desire, guilt, confusion. He had promised himself to take things slow, to respect the boundaries they had set, but every time Jin was near, it became harder to resist. The dreams, so vivid and intense, left him on edge, craving a reality that seemed just out of reach.
Just then, he heard a soft knock on the door, and his breath caught. It was Jin.
"Jungkook," Jin's voice was hesitant, almost trembling. "Are you... okay?"
Jungkook looked up, his eyes locking with Jin's. He was struck by the raw vulnerability in Jin's gaze, the way his hands nervously fidgeted with the edge of his shirt. It was clear Jin felt it too-the tension, the unspoken desire. A sudden wave of tenderness washed over Jungkook. He stood, taking a cautious step toward Jin.
"Jin, I..." Jungkook hesitated, unsure of what he wanted to say. Instead, he reached out, his fingers brushing gently against Jin's. For a moment, Jin flinched but didn't pull away, his gaze softening.
"I just... I don't want to mess this up," Jungkook confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. He could feel his heart hammering in his chest, every nerve alive with the electricity of the moment.
Jin's lips curved into a sad, understanding smile. "I know," he said softly, closing the distance between them. "Me neither. But..." He hesitated, as if weighing his words carefully. "Maybe it's okay to be confused. We don't have to have all the answers right now."
Jungkook's hand tightened around Jin's, drawing him a step closer until they were nearly chest to chest. Jin's breath hitched, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he leaned in, resting his forehead gently against Jungkook's, their breaths mingling in the stillness.
For a moment, they stood like that, neither of them daring to move, caught in the fragile balance between longing and restraint. Jungkook closed his eyes, savoring the warmth and nearness of Jin, feeling a flicker of hope that somehow, they would figure this out-together.
Thanks for standby ☺️
