Jin loved the quiet. In a bustling world of parties, endless chatter, and social obligations, his small corner of the universe consisted of two things: cooking and love stories on Wattpad. He found comfort in creating new recipes in their tiny dorm kitchen, the rhythmic chopping of vegetables offering a sense of peace. And when he wasn't cooking, he could always be found curled up with his phone, lost in the latest love story on Wattpad. It was his little escape, a place where he could dream of romance without the complications of the real world.

Living with Jungkook was, in many ways, the opposite of what Jin had ever imagined for a roommate. Jungkook was outgoing, vibrant, and a social magnet. Every weekend, Jungkook threw parties or was invited to one, pulling late nights filled with laughter and music. His friends-both men and women-adored him. Jungkook was charming, effortlessly flirting with everyone, and as a confident bisexual, he made it clear that his attractions weren't bound by gender. He'd often come back to the dorm room with stories about his latest crushes or flings, flashing his signature playful grin.

Jin and Jungkook had been living together for two years now, and though their personalities couldn't be more different, they somehow made it work. Jungkook respected Jin's need for solitude and calm, while Jin had grown used to Jungkook's energy and his late-night gaming sessions. It wasn't uncommon for Jungkook to invite a few friends over, blast some music, and immerse himself in a virtual world, shouting commands to his teammates as Jin read quietly in the corner.

One evening, as Jin was finishing up a simple pasta dish, Jungkook walked into the kitchen, stretching after a long day. He leaned against the counter, watching Jin stir the sauce.

"That smells amazing. You always spoil me with your cooking, Jin," Jungkook said with a teasing grin. He moved closer, peeking over Jin's shoulder. "Maybe I should start calling you chef."

Jin chuckled, feeling a little shy under Jungkook's gaze. "It's nothing special. Just something quick."

"Special enough to keep me hooked," Jungkook replied, his tone playful, as he gently bumped Jin's arm with his elbow. "You're really trying to win my heart through my stomach, huh?"

Jin felt his cheeks heat up, unsure if Jungkook was serious or just teasing him again. "I just like cooking. It's relaxing."

"Well, I like eating," Jungkook said, flashing his bright smile, "especially when it's something made by you."

Jin tried to focus on the food in front of him, but Jungkook's words made it hard to concentrate. Jungkook had always been flirty, but recently, there was a softness to his teasing that made Jin's heart race. Was it just his imagination, or was Jungkook actually flirting with him?

Later that evening, they sat down to eat, the small table between them feeling more intimate than usual. As Jungkook twirled his fork in the pasta, he glanced up at Jin. "You know," he started, his voice casual but with that familiar teasing lilt, "if you ever get tired of reading those Wattpad romances, you could write your own."

Jin raised an eyebrow. "Write my own?"

"Yeah," Jungkook continued, leaning forward slightly. "You've got the heart of a romantic. I bet you'd write something amazing."

Jin laughed, shaking his head. "I don't know about that."

"I do," Jungkook said, his tone suddenly more sincere. "You've got this sweet, thoughtful vibe. I bet you could write a love story that would make people fall in love just reading it."

Jin's heart skipped a beat. The way Jungkook was looking at him, his eyes soft and focused, made Jin's stomach flip. It wasn't the first time Jungkook had complimented him, but this felt different. There was something deeper in his gaze, something that made Jin wonder if there was more behind the flirtatious words.

"You're really good at this," Jin said, trying to deflect the attention.

"At what?" Jungkook asked, his grin widening.

"At flirting," Jin muttered, feeling his face grow warm.

Jungkook laughed, the sound warm and carefree. "Flirting? With you? Maybe I am. Is it working?"

Jin froze for a moment, unsure of how to respond. His heart was pounding, and he couldn't tell if Jungkook was being serious or just messing with him again.

"I-uh-" Jin stammered, looking down at his plate, trying to hide the blush creeping up his neck.

Jungkook's laughter softened, and he leaned back in his chair, clearly enjoying Jin's flustered reaction. "Relax, I'm just teasing. Or maybe I'm not," he added with a wink, sending Jin's thoughts into a tailspin.

The rest of the meal passed in comfortable conversation, though Jin couldn't stop thinking about the way Jungkook had looked at him-like there was more behind the playful teasing. He had always admired Jungkook's confidence, his ability to charm anyone, but now Jin wondered if there was a part of that charm directed specifically at him.

As they finished eating and cleaned up, Jungkook leaned against the counter, watching Jin put away the last of the dishes. "You know," he said, his voice low and teasing, "if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're trying to take care of me. First, you cook for me, and then you clean? What's next? Tucking me into bed or maybe tangled on the bed?"

Jin laughed nervously, wiping his hands on a towel. "You're impossible."

"And you're adorable when you're flustered," Jungkook shot back, flashing that playful smile again.

Jin's heart thudded in his chest. He tried to play it off, laughing it away, but the warmth in Jungkook's eyes made him wonder if maybe-just maybe-there was something more to the way Jungkook teased him.

As they both settled in for the night, Jungkook returned to his game, and Jin to his books. But now, every glance, every smile Jungkook threw his way felt heavier with meaning. Jin didn't know if he was reading too much into it, or if something was actually starting to change between them. All he knew was that his heart was no longer just quietly admiring Jungkook from afar.

It was racing-hoping that maybe, just maybe, Jungkook felt the same way too.
