It was another cloudy day in the seaside town where I lived. The streets were quiet except for the sound of barrel wheels turning, and deals being made in the marketplace below. I used to walk around down there with my friend, but he left a long time ago, and never returned. I still bore the scars if the incident, literally and figurative. I craved closure; I craved answers. So... I decided I'd set out to find them. I stared through the mist solemnly as I did some days, strapping up my boots and singing the same old song I wrote upon hearing of his antics:

(To the tune of Davy Jones and Calypso's Song IDK if that's the official name but yeah)

Captain Jack
A pirate brave
Once was met
With a mighty grave
His crew travelled to worlds end
To find a way to revive thier friend
Made a promise once to me
Then betrayed it for the sea
Like all pirates blinded by greed
Once in his mind they planted the seed
Left the brits to join their side
That cursed compass as his guide
Searching for treasures gold and silver
Amoung the towns he goes to pilfer
He once belonged to our humble town
Now he's hunted by the crown
Every night I sing and pray
That he may come back one day
I waited long and bided time
He served pennance for his crimes
Now I take up my boots and sail
Fragile memories will they prevail
Whatever comes storm or rain
He'll return to us again
For I swear now Ill bring him back...
My beloved captain... Jack.
