THIRTY FIVE

{Author's POV}

~At Hospital~

The three men, along with Antara arrived at the hospital and Ranvijay immediately started calling for doctor. 2-3 nurses came and Ranvijay told them Antara's condition. They got a stretcher and take Anatar under observation. Ranvijay stayed out and paced around.

"Jiju?" All turn and Abhiraaj saw Naina. "What are you doing here? Are you ok?" Naina asked. "I'm..I'm all ok. My friend's wife had a condition so..." Abhiraaj trailed and Naina nodded. "What happened, if I may ask?" Naina asked.

"She got shot on her shoulder." Abhiraaj told her. "Oh no, which room?" Naina asked and Abhiraaj told her. "I'll check." Naina said, entering the room. Ranvijay was pacing around when he saw Neil sitting on the hospital chair with a blank look. He went to him and sat beside him.

"Neil..." Ranvijay said, squeezing his shoulder. Neil looked at him. Ranvijay hugged him. "You can let it out, you know.." Ranvijay said and Neil buried his face in Ranvijay's shoulder as his tears fell silently. Ranvijay hugged him tightly and patted his head.

"You'll be fine, I'm there, Aaru is there, hm? You'll be fine. You'll find someone, who actually deserves you. Don't waste your tears on a girl like her." Ranvijay said and Neil just hugged him tightly.

2-3 hours later, Naina along with other doctor came out. The three men immediately stand up. Naina give a smile to them and turn to talk to Abhiraaj.

"Mrs. Ranawat is out danger, jiju. Luckily the bullet didn't cause a big problem. But she'll have to wear a caste for a month or two. So, take care of that. Other than she is all fine." Naina said and Ranvijay breathed a sigh of relief.

"When can we take her home?" Neil asked. "We'll keep her here for the night and checking her condition tomorrow, maybe we can discharge her." Naina said and Neil nodded.

"Thank you...thank you so much." Ranvijay said and Naina smiled. "It was our job, Mr. Ranawat. I'll take my leave. See you later, jiju. Bye." With that Naina leave. Ranvijay went near Antara's ward door and kissed her face that was visible through the door.

"My Aaru..."

~Next Morning~

Antara woke up. The doctors checked her condition and told Ranvijay that she was ready to leave but have to care of her injured shoulder and tell him some important things to take care of.

Currently, Ranvijay's sitting with Antara, waiting for Neil to come so, they can leave. They'll be leaving back for their home. Ranvijay look at Antara, who was very quiet and staring blankly.

"Aaru...look at me, bachha." Ranvijay said and turned her face to him. "What happened? Why are you so quiet?" He asked. "Ranvijay, Maahi...she..she.." Antara couldn't continue as he tears starts falling.

"Shh..shh, my love. It's ok, let it out." Ranvijay said, hugging her as she sobbed. "She was my best friend, my only friend, Ranvijay. I never thought she...she would.." Antara said between her sobs. "I know I know...but let's forget about that, hm? Just remember the good memories, bachha." Ranvijay said, caressing her hairs.

The door was knocked before it was opened by Neil. "The car's ready." Neil said and Ranvijay nodded. Neil also nodded and leave. Ranvijay then carefully helped Antara and take her out to car where Neil and Abhiraaj were. Antara walked to Abhiraaj.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." Antara said, trying to join her hands but Abhiraaj stopped her. "Please don't. You're like a sister to me. Please." Antara smiled and Abhiraaj nodded before the three leave for Jaipur.
