{Author's POV}
Once, Ranvijay reached his office, he got all the information about Abhay Rawal from Paarth and he immediately tell Neil to track his location. Two hours later, Neil came back to his office.
"Ran, I got it. It's not far from here. It looks like he kept Mrs. Rathi in his house only. So, nobody can doubt him." Neil said and Ranvijay nodded. "Then, I think we should pay Mr. Rawal a visit." Ranvijay said.
"That easily? Why'd he leave Mrs. Rathi just like that?" Neil asked. "He won't. But when we try to lure him with company and property shares, he will definitely." Ranvijay smirked and Neil nodded. "Paarth, you'll have to sign some fake papers, so, we can trap Abhay Rawal." Ranvijay said and Paarth nodded.
"I'll do it. But after that what?" Paarth asked. "After that you will go to Rawal house, obviously not alone, and tell him that we know he has kept your mom there and in return for releasing her, you'll give him all the properties of Rathis. If he is ready for the deal then good but if he doesn't then...we will take charge."
Ranvijay explained and Paarth and Neil nodded. "Neil, tell our men to be ready. We won't take many." "On it." With that Neil went and Paarth turn to Ranvijay. "Thank you so much Ranvijay." He said. "No need, Paarth. I'm doing it all for my Aaru. Besides your mom is my mother-in-law too." Paarth nodded, with a grateful expression.
Soon enough they all leave for Rawal house. Paarth was a little anxious and overwhelmed. He will be seeing his mother after so long and he will get his mom back finally. He was a mama's boy after all.
Ranvijay looked at him before turning back to look out of the window. He has hasn't forgive any of the Rathis, including Paarth but this is for Antara, his wife, the love of his life. Besides, he also know how it feels to lose your parents, so, he might be a little sympathetic towards Paarth but nothing more than that.
"We are here." At Neil's voice, both Ranvijay and Paarth come out of thier own thoughts and look up at the not so big house and glance at each other before nodding and getting off. They, then, move towards the main door and Paarth rang the doorbell. Soon, they heard footsteps and the door was opened by a middle aged lady.
"Who?" She asked. "Didn't recognise me, mami? It's me, Paarth." The lady's eyes widen as she looked at him. "Paarth, you..after years..how..I mean.." She stammered. "Won't you call me in, mami?" Paarth said. "I..uh.." Before she can complete her sentence, Paarth pushed past her, followed by Ranvijay.
A middle aged man, who is none other than Abhay Rawal was sitting on the couch with newspaper and sipping his tea when Paarth and Ranvijay entered. He noticed them and immediately stand up.
"And who you two might be?" Abhay Rawal asked. "Aree you also don't recognise me mama ji?" Paarth said and Abhay's blood ran cold. "P-paarth?" "That's right, mama ji. It's Paarth. Let's sit, shall we? It's your home after all." Paarth said, sitting down and Ranvijay also sat beside him.
Abhay Rawal's whole demeanor changed to that of anger. "What are you doing here huh!? Who allowed you in?! And who's this?" He asked, pointing to Ranvijay. "Who I am, doesn't matter...yet." Ranvijay said. "And why am I here is because I know mom is alive and you've kept her here." Paarth said, making Abhay freeze.
"Wh-what are you talking about!? Shree is dead! She died years ago because of that unlucky An---" "DON'T! Don't you dare complete that sentence or you'll be ten feets inside the ground.Xm" Ranvijay growled, making Abhay Rawal squirm.
"And answer properly to his questions and sort it out decently because if not, I have other ways which nobody in this house will like. Paarth." Ranvijay said and Paarth nodded before turning back to Abhay Rawal.
"So, mama ji, these are the property papers of Rathi Industry. It has my sign on them. If you leave my mom right now, this will be yours." Abhay Rawal's eyes lit up. "You're really giving it to me? How should I believe it? How can you just give your everything to me?" Abhay Rawal asked.
"These are the original documents and believe me I'm ready to give it to you because my mom is more important to me then some mere company." Paarth said and Abhay Rawal smirked. "Well well, looks like Shree is finally going to get free. C'mon give me the papers then." Abhay Rawal said.
"First, I will meet mom, then I'll give these papers to you." Paarth said. "Fair enough. Follow me." With that Abhay Rawal took Paarth and Ranvijay to a very back room, most likely a store room. He opened the door to reveal the darkness. It was all dark except for the small window.
"Why are you here again huh!? I told you I won't eat the food!" A woman yelled and Paarth's heart clenched. "Shut up! Who's here to give you food? Today, I've a surprise for you." Abhay Rawal said. "Surprise? I don't want any!" The woman, Shree Rathi yelled in a hoarse and weak voice.
Abhay Rawal scoffed and turn on the light making Shree squint her eyes and Paarth eyes widen with tears at his mother's battered look. He couldn't help his knees, which gave up. Ranvijay quickly hold him.
"Maa..."
At that the woman slowly look up. She couldn't recognise who it was but her heart felt something familiar. She look at the now crying man and furrow her eyebrows. "Paarth..?" A tear escaped Paarth's eyes as he stepped forward to hug her.
"It's me, maa! It's your Paarth. Sorry, I'm late. I'm sorry!" He cried. Shree's tears falls as well, as she hugged her eldest child. "I missed you, maa. I missed you so much! I'm sorry." Paarth said. "It's not your fault, my child. Stop crying, it's fine. Stop crying."
"Let's go, maa. I'm here to take you. C'mon, you won't stay here anymore." Paarth said and helped her stand and started taking her outside, glaring at his uncle. He was followed by Ranvijay.
"Uh uh, my papers, Paarth." Abhay Rawal said and Paarth threw them at him. "Hope I never see you again!" Paarth said and started moving out.
As soon as Paarth was outside the door, he made Shree Rathi sit inside the car before getting in. Just then the police siren came, making Abhay Rawal and his wife's eyes widen.
"You really thought, you'll be saved? Hard luck Abhay Rawal. People always gets what they sow. Hope you enjoy your time in jail. Oh, and those papers are fake." With that Ranvijay got inside the car and Neil drove off while Abhay Rawal yelled in anger and frustration as police arrested him.
Meanwhile inside the car, Paarth hugged his mom tightly, as if he let her go then she will disappear. He was happy and he couldn't imagine how happy his family members be to know that she is alive. Shree Rathi was also content to be back to her son.
"How are everyone in the family, Paarth? Your dad, Aarav? And...and my princess Taru? Aarav and Antara must've grown a lot na. Were they all good after I went missing? They must be heartbroken. Especially Antara, she must be thinking it's her fault, but I know you all must've kept her happily, right?"
At that Paarth freeze, his eyes met Ranvijay's, whose eyes shows disappointment and he shake his head. Paarth hugged his mother more closer.
"You rest for now, maa." He said. "Ok ok. By the way who are they? Your friends?" Asked, Shree Rathi, pointing to Neil and Ranvijay. "They are my business partners mom, Ranvijay Singh Ranawat and Neil. Also, Ranvijay is...Antara's husband." Ranvijay turn around and give a smile to her, whose eyes were wide.
"My baby girl is married? I can't believe I miss it. It's nice to meet you son-in-law. I'm sorry I have to meet you like this." Shree Rathi said. "No no, please don't say sorry, it's not your fault." Shree Rathi smiled and pat his head. Just then Ranvijay's phone rang and he took it out to see Maahi and pick it.
"Hello?"
"Jiju! That...that someone kidnapped Antara!"
