Getting Ready *maria's pov*

Honestly, I don't know why mom is letting me travel this far from home by myself. Actually, she's been acting very weird lately... I can't tell what's up with her.
Luckily everything I needed was packed so I could chill the last few hours before my flight to Oregon.
Mom was walking around like a zombie and dad was nowhere to be found. He's never home anymore.
I finally found a channel with something interesting on it and sat like that for about half an hour.
"Maria are you sure you have everything? Is your phone charger packed? Do you have tour toothbrush?" Mom asked. "Yes mother I do." I said and sank back into my position in front of the TV.
"Maria please be safe, you know all the rules and I'm sure I don't need to talk to you about them, right?" Mom went on.
I wasn't even listening right now. "Right?" She continued. "Yeah ok." I said.
A few hours later my mom said it's time to leave. I was pretty nervous about the flight. I mean from England to Oregon is at least a 10 hour flight if not more! Luckily I brought my ipod and a few books with me for the flight.
"Now boarding flight 618 to Oregon. Flight 618 to Oregon is now boarding." The intercom spoke.
Here I go.
"Bye mom I'm gonna miss you guys. Tell dad I said bye." I said and hugged my mom. Now for the flight to Gravity Falls.
