"Maria, this is Mabel, and the guy at the top of the stairs is Dipper." I introduced them. "Guys, this is Maria!" I said with a grin. "Aah! We're gonna have so much fun Maria!" Mabel shouted. Dipper had a weird look on his face like 'what have you done? This is gonna end badly!' I just shot him a smile and a wink.
Mabel dragged Maria upstairs and into the attic. I could see Maria was confused.
I decided to follow Dipper to the kitchen. "Dipdip." I said in a voice I didn't know I can make. "What is it now Anna-lee?" Dipper said rather rudely. "I was going to say I have a present for you but you're being rude so now I'm not going to give it to you." I said and smiled at him."okay sorry, why did you follow me?" Dipper asked. "Because Mabel dragged Maria upstairs and I wondered why you didn't come along." I said and put a hand on his shoulder. Dipper sighed.
"You see, I'm not good with girls like Maria, she seems so nice... I-i can't keep these secrets from her... what if she thinks I'm a weirdo!?" Dipper said with a sad/scared look on his face. I looked into his greenish brown eyes. "Listen to me Dipper, you have no reason to worry about what people think of you, you're a very interesting guy and personally I think you're pretty rad!" I said feeling like a proud mother. Dipper had this weird look in his eyes. "I wish I could believe you, but every time I feel comfortable around people, something bad happens to me it's always been that way." I could see a tear roll down his face. I couldn't do anything but hug the poor boy. "Don't listen to those dumb pricks, they're just jealous of you." I said and felt sadness in my heart. "It's so hard to fit in." Dipper said and wiped a tear away.
Mabel and Maria walked in giggling. They stopped in their tracks and stopped giggling. "Oh. My. Gosh!" Mabel shouted. I pushed Dipper away and I felt the heat in my cheeks. "Anna-lee! Why didn't you tell me you had a thing for Dipper?!" Mabel shouted. "That's because I don't, can't I hug a friend in need?" I said feeling anger. Always when I talk to a guy THIS happens...
"Sheesh no need to shout at me, I was just joking around." Mabel said all defensive. "Whatever... just don't make assumptions like that again." I said and flicked my hair. Mabel giggled like a fool and Maria looked lost. "Earth to Maria!" I said breaking the awkward silence and snapping my fingers in front of her. "What? Oh sorry, I was thinking." She said with a smile. "Nothing, you just seemed lost there for a second." I said poking her cheek. Mabel laughed.
"So what do you guys want to do?" Dipper asked.
