It was Thursday night. Avery and Dylan were in the living room.
"Where are we going with Max on Saturday?"
"We're going to Portland, Oregon." "We're gonna watch Max wrestle." Portland is where grandma Mary raised mommy."
"I like having Max around."
"I know."
That Saturday afternoon Avery and Dylan went to the house where Avery grew up. Just like when Avery was there before the house was abandoned. They got out of the car.
"This is it." Avery said.
"Can we go in?"
"The door is locked."
"Where is grandma Mary?"
"I don't know." "I haven't seen her since I was a teenager."
"Can't you look for her on the computer?"
"I've tried." "I can't find her." "See that window?" She asked pointing to the window upstairs on the left.
"Yeah."
"That was mommy's room."
Later that night Avery and Dylan had just walked into Max's locker room.
"Hi Max." He said.
"Hey buddy." Dylan hugged him.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too."
Avery, Dylan and Max were in catering. Austin came over to them.
"Austin I want you to meet Avery and Dylan." Max said.
"Max talks about you two all the time." Austin said.
"It's so nice to finally meet you." Avery said.
"It's nice to meet you too."
After the show Max went back to Avery's room. It was time for Dylan to go to bed.
"Do you want mommy to read you one of the bedtime stories we brought?" Avery asked.
"Can Max do it?" Dylan asked.
"Sure I can." Max said.
