"Kya hua Kartik? All good? You slapped the driver, was he misbehaving with her?" Abhir questioned to make sure everything's fine when Kartik merely nodded at his question with an upset face that told more than his reaction did.

"Don't worry, all good. Car sahi hui?" Kartik asked, looking at the engine that Abhir just repaired.

"Yep." Abhir asserted.

"I think the engine was too hot, that's why it didn't start. Now it has cooled down so maybe try again?" He advised, but before Kartik could go inside, Abhir halted the man with his speech.

"Umm- vo- Can I take Vaanya with me instead? I have something to talk about with her- a- and al- also what if the car breaks down again somewhere on your way?" Abhir exposed his intentions with a stutter that had Kartik chuckling at him.

"Why are you scared to say that then? Why make excuses to take her with you bro? Just go ahead, she's your soon-to-wife so I don't care honestly, take her, kidnap her, whatever," Kartik chortled to himself, getting inside the car to ignite the engine and check it's working, leaving a shy and sheepish Abhir outside.

"Mai kaha jau ab? Ab late nahi ho raha?" Vaanya screeched with a cry, standing next to Abhir's car behind Kartik's.

"Mere saath chalo, or kaha jaogi?" Abhir jogged to the lady who dramatically weeped on the road in broad daylight as she couldn't go to her auto ride and now no one was even giving her any attention.

But Abhir opened the door for her.

"Please, your majesty," he bent down in honor as he opened the gate for her, who in return stomped her feet to sit inside, angrily folding her arms underneath her chest.

Abhir just stared at her actions, smiling internally when he observed how she was still holding his suit so delicately. He carefully shut the door close as he jogged back to his driver's seat.

"Vivaan— tha na uska naam?" Abhir questioned out of the blue during their ride back to Vaanya's house according to Kartik's instructions.

"Haan, kyu?" She growled at the man who kept all his eyes on the road but all his ears on her words.

"Aise hi bas. Soch raha tha ki tumhari pasand kaafi kharab hai iss mamle me," he joked with seriousness.

"Excuse me you— Mr. Ancestor of chimpanzees, khabardaar jo tumne mere best friend ke baare me aisi bakwaas dobara ki to-"

"So I was right," as Vaanya was on the way to threaten the lad who was flying the car at the speed of 130 km/hr, he cuts her off with the copy of the same neutral expressions like before.

"Kis baare me right?" She questioned back, the size of her eye shrinking in suspicion as she stared at his side profile.

"That he isn't your boyfriend, 'cause you just addressed him as your best friend. And no girlfriend in the world would introduce her boyfriend as her best friend if she's in love with him. Am I wrong, Ms. Birla?" Abhir took a glance at her with a miniature smirk sliding through his lips on the sides.

"Shit Vaanu- shit shit shit- itni lambi zubaan hai teri- thoda dimaag bhi bada kar leti bolne se pehle,"

Vaanya squeezed her eyes shut, throwing her head back in annoyance on being caught red handed because now she knows, even if she tries to manipulate or twist her words, Abhir would never believe them because he's also a big businessman.

Abhir pushed the clutch with breaks to park the car as they reached after Kartik at her house.

"Vaanya, bacchi nahi hain ab aap. 21 saal ki ho gayi hain to ab itna mat dariye kisi cheez se. Agar shaadi nahi karni, to abhi mere saath chaliye or dono families ke saamne mana kar dijiye, and I promise, I'll support you," he bolstered the irritated girl who's scared of letting her parents down.
