During the press tour for season 4, Rudy has finally looked at Madison during interviews. If you were there for season three press tour you would know how surprising this is.
Rudy no longer utters the words "JJ is confused" when asked about Jiara in interviews. He is all for it.
Interviewer: "So, Jiara? What's happening for them?"
Rudy: "I think it's a rollercoaster for them this season for multitudes of reasons, that I probably can't share right now. But, you know, I think, starting off as friends and then going into a relationship. You know, friends is one thing but relationship brings responsibility."
Rudy: "We're picking up a year into JJ and Kiara potentially sating that it's like, 'hey, I think this is possible' and JJ, I think he's trying to trust that it is possible. He's trying to be like 'okay.. I think I know how to do this.'"
Madison has always been all for Jiara but this season she's expressing it even more.
Interviewer: "For Jiara fans, what are we going to see with JJ and Kiara?"
Madison: "I mean, we've gone through this time jump. So, growing together... We're growing up and yeah, growing together. It's... We go through a little while ride. I mean, JJ is still JJ. There's no calming down from that. So it's just like, Kiara is like let me keep up. It's just, Kiara having a soft spot for his shenanigans."
Madison: "I know a lot of my fans and Kiara's fans are really excited to see Jiara. You're getting the full season, part one and two. The relationships growing this year is one of my favourite things. John B and Sarah have an amazing arc, Pope and Cleo are growing and Jiara's ever-growing."
Outerbanks premiere
On October 8, Outerbanks had an event where some people were able to attend the premiere and see a screening of the first episode. unfortunately, there were zero Rudison interactions but people were shocked to see that Mariah and Elaine weren't there.

Turns out, Mariah and Elaine were there indeed. The day of the premiere, Elaine went and posted about a video on instagram of her and Rudy dressed up and ready to go to the premiere.

Mariah also posted on her instagram, showing us that she was at the premiere. However, her post came off as shady as she cropped Rudy out of the cast picture.

At the premiere, when JJ and Kiara appeared first, the audience were going crazy over them and anytime they were on screen. Yes, Mariah and Elaine were watching this happen live.
