Majesty

Once again there she was but this time again. We sat across from each other, with her head down and swollen eyes I watched as Soriah played with her fingers.

After bumping into each other, and
staring at each other for what seemed like forever, I gathered the courage to walk away after helping her up. But hearing the way she said "wait" with desperation and hurt laced in her voice led us here.

We decided on sitting in one of my favorite cafes, but I could tell Soriah was already in here from when she dropped her cup during the fall.

"How have you been?" Soriah asked me. Figuring she's just trying to make conversation, I replied "pretty okay" I coughed because of the awkwardness "how about you?". She nodded her head "pretty okay myself" she finally lifted her head up and I was met with her beautiful eyes.

The eyes I fell in love with. She was beginning to open her mouth but I spoke first "why'd you do it?". Soriah opened and closed her mouth. As it seemed like she fought with her thoughts.

"I'm sorry, after that night I- I had so many thoughts going through my mind" and quickly wiped her eyes "and I just thought me leaving was the only solution, and I know that's not a good enough excuse but I was in a fucked situation and for a quick second I convinced myself I used you" she shook her head as her tears continued to fall "and you didn't deserve that- you don't deserve that"

I didn't know what to say or think. I was mad but hurt. Mainly hurt at the fact that she was sitting here crying in front of me. Even after all she did to me, it still hurt me to see her hurt.

"Please say something Majesty" Soriah spoke desperately. "I don't know what to say Soriah" I breathed out, now fighting back my tears. "I thought we were close enough to come to each other about anything back then" I shrugged my shoulders "You could've told me this and I would've told you how I felt. You hurt me and I cried every single night, always asking myself 'am I not good enough'".

my tears won

"For the rest of the school year you just walked passed by me like I meant nothing to you" I grew mad and loud "Like I was just some bitch who was your fucking fan. That fucking hurts! Watching the girl you were once falling in love with treat you like shit!" She jumped back at my last sentence and for a quick minute I felt guilty. "I can't take this" I got up and left the coffee shop feeling everyone eyes on me.

"Majesty wait!" "Majesty stop!" I heard Soriah yell out. I hurriedly crossed the street. My vision blurry from the tears forming.

The next thing I knew I heard screeching and a loud bang.

I stopped

Quickly turing around, I saw Soriah laying there and everything around me stopped.

"Soriah!" I yelled before running over to her.  Falling to my knees I picked up her limp body. People crowded around us "Someone call 911!" I yelled out.

Looking down at Soriah, blood left the side of her face.

Why didn't I stop

"Please someone help" I continued to cry out, placing her head on my chest "I'm sorry" I cried to the unconscious girl "i'm so sorry" I held her even closer.

The sound of the sirens sounding so far but close

"Please don't leave me"
